Excellent choice

Wonderful stay, one of the best locations in town. I used to live in Sopot and wanted to be close to the beach and the main plaza but without the crowds and noise. This location was perfect, secured and quiet. The hotel building is very quiet itself, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious and with plenty of choices. Good service. Also, plenty of parking available for a small fee which is a great plus for this part of town.

We stayed at Hotel Testa for 5 nights recently. Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful as were all of the staff members we encountered. The hotel is fairly new and has a lovely feel to it. It is designed in a’ minimalist’ style, but because it is small it is also very intimate. We had breakfast included and this was a buffet with the option of cooked food as well. You could order additional cooked items and these were always fresh and hot. Omelettes, bacon with fried eggs etc. Our room was on the top floor (3rd) and it was very light and airy with a sofa as well. The balcony looks out into the garden and there are large trees which are at the balcony level. Lovely outlook and the trees were magnificent. Very peaceful. The hotel is close to the beach. Just a few minutes walk (less than 100ms)and the hotel is very secure as it is in a private road which has a gated access to the beach. Bikes and deckchairs etc are available to borrow/hire. We didn’t use the spa as we were with family who were staying at other locations in Sopot so were out and about most of the day. Beach is very nice, but gets busy at weekends and during the summer. As you go out onto the beach you are on a beachfront promenade which stretches all the way along the seafront with an adjacent cycle path. Loads of local restaurants and amenities. You can even cycle into the centre of Gdansk which is only 13km away (45mins). All in all a lovely spring break. We will return next year for a wedding.

The property is pretty new with a modern vibe, it’s not cheap and make sure you want to visit and stay and the Baltic Coastal town, I think we would have preferred to have had the 2 additional nights in Gdańsk, but that’s only our opinion.

Ett helt magiskt hotell vid nedre delen av Sopot.1 - 2 min från stranden,och 10 min från centrum och den berömda piren.Moderna rum, marmorbadrum, ren design. Ett underbart privat spa som var så rent att det inte syntes att det varit använt .Ljuvlig eucalyptusbastu,kände sig som en annan människa efter att ha suttit där. En fantastisk frukost där ingenting saknades,fräscht och gott, dessutom en meny att beställa ifrån. Helt suveränt! Men det bästa till sist. Personalen. Man blir säker på att här har alla rätt plats. Så tillmötesgående,vänliga och hjälpsamma har vi aldrig varit med om. Agnieszka som tog emot oss när vi anlände,hon som också svarade glatt på alla våra mejl innan ankomst. Zofia som hjälpte oss att få en fantastisk picnickorg på vår bröllopsdag.( Egentligen inte möjligt förrän i juli). Maryna som hela tiden var otroligt hjälpsam och trevlig. Restaurangpersonalen lika varma, serviceinriktade och vänliga. Cava blev vi bjudna på första morgonen vi kom,vi blev gratulerade på vår bröllopsdag. Så mycket omtanke.Vi har rest mycket,varit på många ställen, även flera gånger i Sopot. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen, familiär geführten Hotel in Sopot. Die Lage ist hervorragend, nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt, sehr zentral gelegen und die Seebrücke ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders begeistert hat uns das Frühstück. Die Auswahl war hochwertig und abwechslungsreich, zudem konnten frisch zubereitete Speisen wie Shakshuka, Rührei oder Pfannkuchen bestellt werden. Die Qualität der Speisen war durchweg ausgezeichnet. Das gesamte Personal war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr gut geschult. Man fühlte sich jederzeit willkommen und bestens betreut. Ein tolles Extra waren die kostenlosen Strandutensilien wie Klappstühle, Decken und Windschutz. Außerdem konnten wir für drei Stunden kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen und die wunderschöne Strandpromenade entlangfahren. Der Spa-Bereich ist zwar eher klein, dafür aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Nutzung musste an der Rezeption reserviert werden, wobei täglich eine Stunde kostenfrei zur Verfügung stand. Besonders positiv fiel uns auf, dass der Bereich nach jedem Besuch gründlich gereinigt wurde. Auch die ruhige Atmosphäre des Hotels hat uns sehr gefallen. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es angenehm leise und erholsam. Wir hatten die Family Suite gebucht. Ein kleiner Nachteil war, dass sich das Fenster im Kinderzimmer nicht öffnen ließ.

Alles in Allem ein schönes Hotel und nettes Personal. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, war das Frühstück, hier konnte man täglich zwischen 7 Vorschlägen/ Themen auswählen, wobei nur drei in die enge Auswahl kamen, was am Ende sehr eintönig und langweilig war. Von der Menge war es so, dass Kinder gut satt geworden sind, auch musste man gern bis zu 30min auf seinen Kaffee warten.

Lovely modern hotel

Really lovely modern hotel, bed was huge but the pillows were awful and gave us sore necks. We asked for me which were received but still gave sore necks. The jacuzzi was lovely, very small and ok for me and my hubby and glad none shared as would have been too small. Breakfast was lovely for a light snack and freshly made omelettes and poached egg was nice. Would have liked latte but the bar didn’t open until 1130, think the receptionist could easily make a latte. Room was very quiet, corridor could be noisy as apartments for families so small children running up and down, not the hotels fault maybe a bigger notice about a quiet zone, albeit don’t think parents would read it but sure they would complain if I came shouting at 2 am ! Would stay again as perfect location but might invest in a pillow !
