8/10 Very good

Very clean room, very warm and kind staff. Location is very good, safe and close to the middle of everything but not exactly there. Lots of ways to get everywhere by foot, bicycling tram or cab. Cabs ara inexpensive either. Only downs sides were hotel had no WiFi service due to external construction, and elevator smell bad (carpet was I believe)

4/10 Fair

On arrival the check in process was difficult as the external keypad didn’t always work so took some time. This was even more concerning when returning at night as we had to be let in by a member of staff - could have been tricky after midnight. The room itself was clean and spacious but the bathroom was small with few toiletries. No tea/coffee making facilities. A few hangers provided for clothing but no drawers - just one broken bedside cabinet. The location is quiet with a good deli and bar opposite and convenient for where we needed to be. Obviously Amsterdam is a major world city so accommodation isnt going to be cheap but we felt the value was very poor for what we received. On the plus side any staff we encountered were very friendly.

Overall fairly decent hotel Great location, room was satisfactory quality for price, cleaning was acceptable, staff were nice and kind - fine for a short stay. Did have an issue with a lot of flies coming into the room on one of the nights where the weather was hot and TV wasn't always working well.
