Good bedding, nicely upgraded old rooms and good amenities.
It's a pub so there is some "boom diddy boom boom" to be expected. It's not so bad and I was able to pair Bluetooth ear phones to the telly easily. About this I was chuffed since many places strangle the real powers of a smart tv and I am quite deaf. Accessing the door locking system is a smooth and efficient experience.
Fast wifi, for the most part good streaming experience with the telly. Friendly competent staff as it's a well oiled and well run establishment and they serve excellent tucker. The Tue schnitzel is top notch.
A sweet shared kitchenette and eating area with microwave, fridge, kettle, cutlery, crockery, coffee, tea and milk that is kept meticulously clean.
Only negative is hardly worth a mention, that the good quality toilet seats in the ladies slip all over the place because they are not properly installed.
Nice selection of local shops around the pub and a special shout out to Food Works who pack terrific salads each day.
As I will have regular visits to this region in future this will be my first port of call for accommodation.
