A lovely small hotel in an old building near the centre of Trieste. The staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The facility, while fully renovated, shows its age, enhanced by the choice of an extremely dark decor and colour scheme throughout. Electrical outlets in the room are few and inconveniently placed, and the workspace is small. Mind your step in the common areas where the flooring is a bit uneven. I did not try the breakfast, which is extra. All in all, good value for money.

Great location in the centre of Trieste, just a 5 minute walk from the Grande canal,and an 8 -10 min walk to the train and bus stations. Check in quick,easy and unusually early these days. Our room was compact ,with limited storage space for a 5 night stay consisting of a wardrobe and an ottoman.Could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe but otherwise it was fine. Everything else regarding the room was excellent and it was tastefully decorated as were the public areas. The staff too,were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Incredibly good breakfast. I’ve never run into a hotel breakfast that was so excellent and appealingly presented. I had a single room, and the bathroom was well- equipped but so small I could hardly turn around. But they had obvious size restraints and they did the best they could in the room available. The staff was unusually friendly and welcoming.

The location was excellent, it is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that has let me into my room before check in time and I was shocked. They made my day with that . Staff is extremely helpful and always go the extra step and very friendly . Well appointed and done up nicely. Only negative is it’s a little dark on the inside .Sorry for that. But I would stay there again.

Central location and a short walk to the canal and the rest of the city main sights. Modern and stylish room (but compact) on the first floor. Friendly and helpful staff and I was unable to finish the breakfast each day. A generous assortment of goodies. Only slight issue could be some road noise depending on the room if you’re a light sleeper. I was ok. Access to the main lift is up a few steps but there is a small stairlift that appears to be available to assist with this. Check if this will be an issue for you.
