The room was spacious and not cramped, everything was where I was informed it would be, and the amenities worked properly. Overall, it was a really fantastic experience especially for me who’s never been in that kind of hotel before

8/10 Very good

OYÓ Pickering was fairly spacious. The extension lead was not that great and kept turning off. Fortunately I had my own, otherwise my alarm clock would have turned off. The kitchen was quite well equipped, however I much prefer to have facilities for tea and coffee in my room so that was a real disappointment for me. Staff were very polite and helpful.

6/10 Good

Stayed in the double room with ensuite. The room was ok, needs updated and cleaned more thoroughly. Grubby windowsills and walls. Lots of cobwebs on the walls/corners. Window requires better blinds or a curtain as it was daylight in the room from about 4am, so bright. Bed was ok, very springy and dipped in the middle. Pillows and separate duvet was bundled into the cupboard and didnt look nice if needed to be used. Toilet requires a little bin if possible or move the room one in there instead for ladies. Room was quiet which was good and parking right outside was good too. Handy location for a family visit. Didn't use the communal kitchen but had lots of items to use and very clean. Owner was lovely and friendly and checkin/check out was bery good and easy.

Lovely hotel. There was no one around at check in, but he phoned me and walked and talked me through everything that i would need to know. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the DIY breakfast and how comfortable and relaxed i felt overall. Would definitely go back

A Good Stay

I was there for two nights for a motorcycle rally. Service was friendly and efficient and slightly informal. A bit more like staying in a friends house than a hotel but I quite liked that.

Happy customer.

When we booked tge book in time was not vidable to us and we were suprised it was 4pm as this felt a little late. Paul was loveley and made us feel very welcome. The room was large but felt a little dated but for the price was more than acceptable. We stayed 1 night in the family room and my girls enjoyed the stay. I went for Breakfast which was self serve and a basic continental but you also have the facilities to make your own should you desire. Lots of contractors and Builders use this hotel and I can see why. Well done Paul great little affordable hotel that does exactly what it says on the tin.

2/10 Poor

Beds Not comfortable at all, mattress with springs coming through, totally unable to sleep, entry to property van parked right outside the entry door, had to walk around the vehicle. No staff on site although the phone was answered. Not happy with the room, double bed with a single bed, but not table or chair in the room. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is the worst place to book - I had a booking and I got told about a leaking ceiling on the day I check in 3h before and then I asked for a refund and never received it it’s been 3 months.
