Great location overlooking the lake, very peaceful and beautiful view. A desk in the room would be good for working & teams/zoom meetings. Might be nicer to keep the big gate between the accommodations and the kitchen shut, trash gets a little stinky in the heat. Restaurant is fantastic, great food and great service. The live music was an unexpected and really nice touch. Could use a pale ale on the beer menu, but i made do lol. Enjoyed my stay - thanks!

The lake view was outstanding! Food quality at Everett’s was also very good - rooms are quite large, LOVED the private balcony - and the mattress and bedding were among the most comfortable we’ve had in any resort stay EVER!! Overall, we would definitely stay here again winter or summer… walk to the restaurant from rooms was a tad precarious when iced over, and we had to buy a stopper for the bathtub — no other improvements we would suggest for this wonderfully affordable and lovely place!!

Rough beginning but wonderful experience!!

We got there about 7:30pm and COULD not find where to check in or even to get help. Had to call the after hours number -and no answer. Called the facility director who helped me. Finally got our room. VERY clean and amazing views. Quiet and just had a great experience and plan on going back!!

The staff was very nice, when we arrived our room had a missing remote so the TV did not work. The young lady who came to the room to check it out did not have a solution. The next day the person took a remote from the restaurant who had 5 of them and had us use it. Wonderful thinking outside of the box. The room and furniture were fantastic but the mattress was very soft so I did not do so good but my husband slept fine.

Great Experience

Staff, including wait staff at the restaurant Everett's, was the nicest people I've ever interacted with. The room was very clean, nice, and vibrant. Only downside was the walls were a little thin; the room above us was occupied and their floor was squeaky and we could easily here every step they took. Luckily they weren't loud guests, just normal walking around, otherwise it would have been very disruptive.

We liked everything about this property, but I stay was flawed by a barking dog, supposedly belonging to the owner, that was tied up in a storage facility located right next to our room. After a couple of hours of this I called the desk and they removed the dog. But, who chains up a dog right next to your room? The restaurant is fantastic.

You double booked my room and I had no room to stay in. All hotels in the area were booked. I had to ravel 45 mins away from Wasilla to find a hotel.

Everything was wonderful, but the room we stayed in smelled like a smoker's room, even though it was a non-smoking room. It was hard to sleep comfortably because the smell was so strong and our clothes ended up stinking too.

It was on a beautiful lake. This was the loudest property I have ever stayed at. We stayed 8 days and I didn't get a single night of decent sleep. The restaurant is nice. The room service is close to non-existent. They left our patio door unlocked one day. After letting them know and asking they ensure it gets locked, the housekeeper said the doors usually are broken and can't lock. Not the case. The front desk was helpful, but this is not a upscale property.

The view from the room is spectacular. The mattress on the bed very comfortable. Frame just a tad tall from floor. Room is spacious. Restaurant is amazing food. Decor is pleasant. The bathroom was the challenge. Door to shower/toilet was very dirty. Bathroom very small and in need of upgrading. Shower head is tall but not adjustable. Made rinsing off a challenge. I really like this place but options are limited in the area. People from restaurant had parked in room areas so I had to repark later after diners left. It is posted so not much that staff could do about it. Thermostat in room didn't seem to work but options of portable fan or heater available in room.
