Awesome little hotel with a personal touch by the staff members. Pool area is beautiful, Spa was excellent value and quality of treatments was as good as ever have ever had elsewhere. We had the private pool villa, worth the upgrade as the villa is huge and the pool is a great touch with cooler water to refresh in than say, the main pool. Breakfast was very good with all options covered well and the staff are so attentive. The cocktail bar at the pool was really good quality. June made the best cocktails we had in Siem Reap and was so helpful throughout our stay. One of the best 5 star hotels I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and in my opinion, much better than the bigger chains as the personal touch from the staff made our trip so special.

The staff at the Metta were absolutely amazing, kind, welcoming, and so helpful. Some of the best hotel service we have ever had. That said, the cleanliness of the hotel and the general upkeep are not 5 stars. When we checked in there was a dead frog on the floor of our hotel room, lots of bugs in the bathroom and bedrooms, hair from the previous guests still on the bathroom counter, and more mold than one would expect, even in a tropical hotel. We stayed in the private pool suite and the outside furniture was solid mold. To the point you absolutely couldn't use it. The main pool was better but the furniture and bar also showed a lot of wear and tear. The food was okay, the breakfast had a good selection. The cocktails were very good and very reasonable. Service in the restaurant was great though! The service was absolutely 5 stars, but the hotel facilities and cleanliness were not what we had hoped for.

Amazing experience. Room was spacious and very well appointed. Bed was firm but very comfortable and had great pillows. Note that the shower and bath area did not have a door, but toilet and sink do. Lovely balcony overlooking the pool and bar area. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and spa services were great. The pool was beautiful and grounds were like a garden. Complimentary Tuk into pub street in the evening was a great perk. Would highly recommend!
