We had a wonderful stay at Bed and Breakfast Storico. The location was fantastic, everything was exactly as described, and Marco was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. We felt very welcome and well looked after. When we return to Como, this accommodation will definitely be our first choice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Bed and Breakfast was awesome!! The place was very clean and spacious, perfect location for walking around Como, and the host was amazing (very attentive and kind). The AC was also very nice considering how hot it was. We will definitely be back!

The location is excellent. The room is clean, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning, which was especially appreciated during our visit in hot summer days. The host is friendly, responsive, and very helpful, making our stay smooth and enjoyable.

Everything was great. We had a little trouble getting in to the space, but once in it was perfect for our family of four and our one night stay in Como. It was clean, updated, and air conditioned. Easy to walk to everything!

You are in the heart of the Como Center! Great local coffee shops and eateries within a couple of minutes! Marco was phenomenal as well! Very communicative and clean!

I would not recommend the economy room in summer. There is no AC and the room is much smaller than pictures seem. Host is nice but I was busy during our stay. WiFi wasn’t available during stay. Seems other rooms have AC so I’d recommend booking the other rooms instead. Location is nice and central.

It was a great location. It was very stressful trying to find a suitable place to park as we didn't realise that there was Friday night football on but we managed. The place itself was functional and just what we needed for the one night. Marco was very accommodating for the morning that we needed to go.

It is a very unique and historical apartment. The stay was pretty good, except there is no elevator. We have to climb 4 to 5 stories to get to the top (our room is at the roof top). The bathroom shower is very basic, no soap or shampoo holder. The owner only provided the body shampoo and no hair shampoo. His reason was preventing allergies from his customer. 🙄 The facility doesn't have washer nor dryer. After I compared my stay with my friend's high end luxury apartment with less than what I paid and right next to the teatro and the church. I think I overpaid for mine.

Good location and nice room

Staff wasn't super helpful, just speaking italian, name is bed and breakfast but no breakfast, apart from that location is very good and room was ok.

Marco was amazing. We forgot stuff in the apartment and Marco offered to send it home. We only have good to say for the place and extraordinary kind host.

Four of us (2 adults and two teens) had a great stopover in Como. Beautiful, clean apartment in excellent location. Just about everywhere is walkable and there’s lots of nice places to eat, drink and shop in the immediate vicinity. Check in was easy, just needed to touch base with Marco before arriving. My Italian isn’t great but his English was impeccable. He is an excellent host! Would be more than happy to recommend.

Might not be the most modern rooms but absolutely loved the flair. Real italien rooms and we had a stunning view outside our room into the corridors of the streets. Loved the are aswell with it being directly in the historical city centre! Just be aware that it has a lot of steps incase you are traveling with a heavy suitcase!

Great location but hot and noisy

Friendly host, Marco and friend. Room was very clean and well decorated but it was very hot (no A/C, only ceiling fan), noisy if window open and there was no WiFi reception in the room.

Lovely little apartment

So glad we did not listen to the reviews!. The location was excellent. Lovely restaurants nearby. Lake is 10 minute walk with plenty of shops etc on the way. Marco accomodated us when we had a 3 hr flight delay. Check in was easy. Lovely little apartment and great value for money. Yes there is room for improvement and breakfast is not included but if you did want one Marco would see to it. It is definitely not as bad as some reviews say! Oh and there are 65 steps to the apartment we had! 😆

Nice big room in a central location. Marco is very friendly too. There was some confusion about check-out time which needs to be updated online. My booking said check-out time was noon, so we went out in the morning and came back to find the room had been unlocked, our possessions moved and staff turning down the room for the next guests. Apparently check out was at 10:30am, but this was never communicated to us. Marco and staff were nice about it though.

The property is in a great location for food, shopping, and easy access (less than 10 minutes walk to the lakeside); it is about a 15 minute walk to the train station, but easily doable. The owner, Marco, was very friendly and helpful. We've decided that any return trip to Lake Como would include a stay here.

4th floor walk up that is older than the pictures look ! Amenities were severely lacking: our room didn’t even have air conditioning nor wifi that was stable. Insane to pay 100€+ for a single room
