Well, apparently their system didn’t connect to hotels.com’s system accurately so when I made a last minute reservation at 11pm and showed up at 11:30, they didn’t expect or have the appropriate room for me.
I slept in a triple room with a dingy bathroom and an emergency stairwell for a view with broken locks on the windows that made me feel unsafe concerning security with potential access my room while sleeping. I told this to the guy who took over for the girl who checked me in and he was basically unconcerned.
I felt claustrophobic and smelled smoke which made it hard to sleep.
I was pretty unhappy and upon leaving I mentioned a few of these things. The manager on duty took good care of me and made things right therefore redeeming some of the previously felt frustration. Good job taking this from quite a negative review to me walking away still wanting to review with truth but feeling there was some redemption of my stay in the end.
