Too expensive for what you get

Given the price point of this place the experience was rather disappointing. Cabin was not very well cleaned (we found an old bandage on the floor), the double bed is small and not very comfortable. The cabin is organised strange with toilet and bathroom separate where the wash at the toilet is so small that you cannot wash your hands properly and there is no place to put soap (which you need to bring yourself anyway)

Dejligt ophold på Ekerum. Dog var det lidt ærgerligt, at vi havde valgt et tidspunkt, hvor desværre allerede spisestedet og caféen var lukket ned for vinteren. Det var jo stadigvæk kun august.

Villavagnen var jättefin och överträffade våra förväntningar. Det fanns AC så det gick att få en rimlig temperatur när vi skulle sova, vilket vi inte är vana vid. Fin pool och trevlig badplats vid havet. Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående. Det enda som var lite minus var storleken på varmvattenberedaren, en av oss fick duscha lite kallt efter badet. Läget är fantastiskt med mysiga gångstråk i vacker natur.

Vi bokade två nätter och fick en bokningsbekräftelse från campingen innan ankomst. Trots det kunde personalen inte hitta vår bokning när vi kom fram efter över fyra timmars bilresa. Att stå där sent på eftermiddagen och inte veta om vi ens skulle ha någonstans att sova var väldigt stressande. Efter en lång stund lyckades de ordna en stuga för den första natten. Dagen därpå var vi tvungna att packa ihop allt, checka ut och flytta till en annan stuga. Den andra stugan motsvarade inte alls det vi hade bokat eller bilderna i bokningen. Möblerna var gamla, det stod saker överallt och framför allt badrummet, ett av sovrummen och altanen var i dåligt skick. Jag har bilder som visar detta. Det som skulle bli ett mysigt firande av min 50-årsdag blev istället en besvikelse. Att dessutom behöva checka in och checka ut två gånger under en vistelse på bara två nätter gjorde att vi förlorade värdefull semestertid. Jag har rest mycket och bokat många boenden genom åren, men det här är första gången jag varit med om något liknande. Personalen försökte hjälpa till så gott de kunde, men hela situationen borde aldrig ha uppstått.
