Different kind of Hilton

The elevators and hallway (2nd floor) smelled bad. I was surprised as it was not the typical Hilton that I enjoy. It reminded me of a bare bones hotel - very minimal.

Very Nice!

Quick and easy check in with friendly staff, everything was clean. They had lots of activities like games and shooting pool available. Location was walking distance to many stores and restaurants. The breakfast was a nice bonus.

It’s cheap for a reason.

The room temp wouldn’t stay below 73°. There was a gap about 1/8th to 1/4 of an inch where see daylight on the AC unit itself. The shower water temp was either cold or scalding and was hard to get a good temp for a shower. The tile work needs a lot of grout work as there were pretty good gaps in between each tile. The room overall looks ok but was clearly some water and ceiling damage that they just painted over.

The front desk lady was so kind and courteous! I wish I knew her name, but she was blonde with long hair. It’s amazing how we just don’t see that kind of service anymore - it was a really nice surprise. The property is quiet, clean and has easy access to the highway for travelers like myself.

The bed was extremely hard. The window curtain wasn't functioning....stuck down. Our door did not lock automatically. You had to pull it shut to click. It does have a decent indoor pool. Hot tub wasn't functioning.

Fun, friendly hotel!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tru! The staff was especially accomodating, helpful and friendly (especially Antonio A. and Antonio C. at the front desk!) Breakfast was good, rooms were clean; ice machine and water bottle filler were convenient to our first floor room which I appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!
