The room I had felt like glorified camping. The bathroom is one that looks like it’s out of those camper minivans, and the rooms looked worn out with wear and tear, which is surprising considering it’s only 8 years old. After a day staying there, as I was laying down the ac started dripping on me. Staff was extremely helpful and allowed me to switch my room. However in my new room, my door would sometimes get jammed and be unable to open with the key. In which this instance occurred 3 separate times. To which I feel like indoor hallways away from the outside elements would be a better idea. Especially because when I went to checkout I saw a roach on the outside of my door, or see ants crawling all over laundry bags when I would pass by in the hallway. And when I first arrived, the pool looked very green and one day I wanted to use it, and staff was cleaning it. However, 1-3 days later the pool was still empty/filling up. Additionally, noise from moving furniture is persistent in the morning making it difficult to sleep. Overall, staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the rooms and facilities being offered can use some work, and improvement as the services do not reflect the price I payed

Amazing staff, polite,kind and helpful . Breakfast was decent enough, great staff in restaurant . Clean hotel . Parking can be an issue as it’s a first come first serve basis , so felt pressure to rush back to get a space . Manager said they are trying to resolve this . Hotel room was a little small and a bit to compact for my liking , although it does have what you need . Hotel is close to beach and not far from airport , there is a family mart five minutes down the road and a shop where you can arrange activities l. You need a car to. Stay in Miyako in order to enjoy the full experience . All in all stay was ok, comfortable bed . What makes up for the negatives are the exemplary staff on reception and throughout the hotel . Huaki with Russian surname was amazing

Disappointing in the extreme. Noisy dirty construction works right in front of the hotel, audible throughout the interior of the hotel. I enjoyed my 5 night stay at Hotel Locus. The hotel is convex located in the center of the city and there are many options for eating, near the bus stop for the airport, and the view from the room is so beautiful. I could even walk to Pina Gama Beach in less than 5 minutes. Staff are also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!
