The staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. The sound does carry so if there are noisy guests that might be an issue but we had no trouble with that. Definitely a convenient location - a short drive from the puffin viewing site in Elliston and Bonavista. We enjoyed our stay.

When we first got in our room we noticed a hum/vibration coming from what we guessed was the utility room next door. We called front desk to see if there was another room, which they didn’t have because it was fully booked, but they were able to locate the source and stop it. We didn’t notice it for the remainder of our 3 night stay. All staff were very friendly and helpful when we had any questions.

Old building but rooms have been renovated and have new bathroom fixtures and bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of soundproofing and that there wasn't a comfortable chair to sit on. Nothing to do with the hotel, but I don't recommend the attached restaurant.
