Reason for the 1 star review when all criteria are marked higher is that when I arrived at the hotel I was told my booking had been cancelled becuase the hotel was closed for an exclusive wedding booking during my stay. I was not informed that the booking had been cancelled. They offered to find me alternative accommodation elsewhere but when this proved to be 'more expensive' they relented and said I could stay in the hotel but I would be unable to use any of the facilities on the day of the wedding. No compensation was offered for this inconvenience. Wont be staying there again!

The pillows were clearly horrible, square like the ones you put on a couch. The bedding was too small for the single beds. Even when you order a double bed room you get two single beds. There are no King size nor even queen size beds, just singles either solo, apart or together. The restaurant was empty at 6PM but when I wanted to dine there with my family we were refused and told to make a reservation with an earliest option of 8 PM! So we were forced to eat elsewhere. Pathetic! I needed an early checkout to travel to the airport so I settled my bills the night before, but was then told I still had to get to the front office in the morning to hand in the blanc key card. I couldn't just leave it in the room. When I came there at 5:30 the doors were locked and I had to wait for the night guard to arrive to hand the card to. Since it was winder the outside furniture and facilities are not kept up and are lying there in a state of derelict, where you'd be afraid to touch them, let alone walk, sit or play there. I am sure it'll be nice in summer, but it's only summer a few months a year in the Netherlands. There are still plenty of nice days the rest of the year, but they cannot be spent there.

The hotel was fine for what we needed, an overnight stop amongst our long journey. We arrived around 7.30pm and were asked if we’d like a restaurant reservation, we said yes as not eaten and kids needed food. The hotel staff were helpful and nice enough, but the restaurant staff we felt like a sheer inconvenience, they couldn’t have been more unhelpful and inattentive. The menu was in Dutch (absolutely fine) but we had to work out for ourselves that there was a small QR code for other languages. The other diners glared/stared at us for what felt like our whole meal, they were elderly so we probably shattered their quiet. Postive were the ev chargers on site. Another negative was the numerous mosquito bites I left the hotel with, although can’t really blame them for that. Unlikely we’d return on our journey back.

Dette hotel var en fantastisk lille perle i Holland. Poolen var skøn og værelset var virkelig lækkert. Der var ingen aircon, men det var rent og pænt og der var en blæser i sommervarmen. Morgenmadsbuffeten var stor og lækker og vi blev alle mætte og klar til en god dag. Vi spiste middag i restauranten og det var ikke så godt. Tjenerne var unge og uerfarne, de virkede forvirrede og glemte hvad der skulle på retterne. Fx havde vi bestilt pandekager med is, chokoladesovs og flødeskum og der manglede både isen og chokoladen. Vi skulle selv bede om det. Samtidig var middagen dyr, så her vil vi nok ikke spise igen.

Som familj fick vi handikaprummet som var väldigt slitet. Utanför fönstret luktade det urin och brandvarnaren var övertäckt. Men personalen var hjälpsam med förstod inte vad jag menade att det luktade urin utanför fönstret, så de klorinade badrummet. Fint poolområde inne. Trång parkering med folk som inte kan parkera och lutande lyktstolpe såg skabbigt ut.

Le personnel était très professionnel. L'hôtel en général est très bien, bonne nourriture, bonne literie et l'endroit est très calme. Point important, les chambres ne sont pas équipée d'air conditionné, mon séjour était pendant la canicule, la températures dans la chambre est montée à 37 degrés.
