I’m so happy I chose Hotel Don Alfredo. The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance. The outdoor breakfast terrace is beautiful, cozy, and a lovely place to start the day. Check-in was quick and easy, the staff was kind and welcoming, and the hotel was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were good, and I loved the window overlooking the street. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s charming, comfortable, and has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again. 9/10!

In the hotels hay day, it must of been something special but now days standards have dropped. Check-in woman delayed my check in which wasn't a great start. Check in is at 2pm and rooms should be ready for check-in. All the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room wasn't ready. The room was fairly clean, some light bulbs weren't working, fridge wasn't working. Positive note breakfast was one of the best I very had. . Well done to the kitchen staff. Delicious.

Very friendly reception, breakfast and cleaning staff. The man in front of the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. Therefore I recommend the hotel, but the hotel needs some investment to be up top date, especially the rooms.

It’s sad to see a hotel like this in such a terrible state. It almost looks abandoned from outside, very low maintenance of the amenities. However, the location is great, close to the Kasbah and old Medina, staff very friendly, breakfast is very nice, great view from the room’s balcony. The hotel needs some serious renovation though. It deserves better.

Great value and good location!

The hotel has probably seen better days but the staff was Incredibly helpful. When my room air conditioner was not working they allowed me to switch right away. They found me a phone charger right away. The pool was very refreshing And you can't beat the location for being right by the Medina and Grand Market and much more. It does not hurt that I am named Fred and my last name starts with J So I felt like I was at home! For the money a great place to stay.

Staff was great. We had a beautiful view of the sea and Medina. Very relaxing. Parking was on site. Areas for improvement include laundering curtains. There is some water damage on walls and shower could use a deep cleansing. It appears hotel is working on it. Breakfast is fair. Pool is nice but it’s not the pool you may see in pictures. That one is the hotel across from Fred’s. We would consider staying here again. Has potential and location to Medina is about 10-15” walk. All hills. Near the American Legation museum which is a well kept secret.

It appears to have been a grand hotel at some point in the past but it is clear that it has not been maintained to that level for many years. For example, Bathroom door didn’t close, furniture were worn out. Place definitely needs a paint job. However the place was clean with nice view of the water and the pool area was nice. Location is great, close to the Medina. So I would say it’s good value if you don’t expect much and don’t mind the appearance too much.

We have a really nice room, it wasn't cheap tho so sad it wasn't clean, it has a balcony where I was tryin to play with my kids but was really dusty. I got two cribs for my babies but whit not mattress, juts some puffy quilts that kind of save the situation lol anyway I was there only for a night, we did went to another hotel for dinner and it was cheaper and was looking more modern and better. Not bad for a un planing trip, will save you!

We booked Fredj Hotel and Spa as a (more expensive) treat near the end of our long holiday in Spain & Morocco. Very disappointed to say the least. We booked for 3 nights/4 days. Challenges.... - our room lock did not work. After repeated promises that this would be fixed we were moved to a new room late on second day. - no towels! (not to mention no robes and slippers as advertised!). Finally received ONE bath towel and ONE hand towel after 2 nights at the hotel. - water bottles only on day 1 (never replenished) - safe didn't work in 1st or 2nd room (again, many promises to have fixes) - phone didn't work in 1st room (2 days) - mini bar (fridge) didn't work/cool. Staff were very nice and tried to cope with many many complaints as we weren't the only dissatisfied customers. Not anything as advertised.

We stayed in Fredj hotel for 7 nights And for 5 of those nights we had NO hot water ! We could not shower. I had to pay for a hamaam outside in the local area just to get clean. I had to ask for towels too cos the cleaner would not leave any towels. Breakfast was just ok. They were slow to refill things when they were finished. I am still waiting for a refund for them 5 days as they said I could claim A refund from Expedia for not having any hot water. Also the hotel staff seemed so unbothered that we were suffering with no hot water in cold December. It was awful !!!

This property is in great location, right next to medina, and this is the biggest positive point for it. Property has nice flowers in the front but the building is extremely old on the inside and outside. When we arrived around 1pm and asked if our room was ready (sometimes this can be the case per my experience tralelling to multiple other countrirs), i was told that it was not (which was Ok), and that a real check in time per Expedia was wrong and it was 3pm, not 2 pm. The receptionist lady mentionrd that service in Morocco is very different from service elsewhere and i should not be expecting too much. Our room was outdated; there was no balcony as the picture showed on Expedia. The room and bed were clean. Towels were so old that they were gray in color and had holes. Safe did not work. The only iron on the property was broken. The gentleman who helped with our bags was very helpful and very nice. The restaurant on the property was good and had a nice view. Taxi service offered in the lobby was 100 dirham in cash paid to the hotel for a 10-minute ride, which i feel like was too much for the distance and time of the driver.

⭐ Très déçu – absolument pas au niveau d’un hôtel 4 étoiles Nous avions réservé et payé une chambre familiale pour 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants). À notre arrivée, on voulait nous donner deux chambres séparées ! Après avoir insisté pour rester avec nos enfants, le réceptionniste de nuit, qui a heureusement essayé de nous aider, a contacté une responsable. Finalement, nous avons obtenu une chambre avec un grand lit et un seul lit individuel, donc adaptée à 3 personnes, alors que nous étions 4. Les prestations sont également très loin de ce qu’on attend d’un 4 étoiles : pratiquement aucun article d’accueil dans la salle de bain, hormis quelques petits flacons de gel douche. L’hôtel est joli intérieurement, mais la décoration ne suffit pas à faire un 4 étoiles. Le pire a été le transfert vers l’aéroport organisé par l’hôtel. Le soi-disant « taxi touristique » était ponctuel, mais le chauffeur conduisait de façon effrayante : vitesse excessive, jusqu’à 80–100 km/h par moments, ralentisseurs franchis brutalement, alors que nous avions largement le temps. Ma femme lui a demandé de ralentir, mes enfants ont eu peur et j’ai eu mal au dos à cause des secousses. De plus, aucune aide pour charger nos bagages. Seul point positif : le personnel de nuit, notamment la réception et la personne à l’entrée, était sympathique et a essayé de faire de son mieux. Mais globalement : réservation non respectée, chambre inadaptée, prestations insuffisantes et transfert très peu professionnel

Llevo 3 dias haciendo.el reclamo.y ni el hotel ni ustedes hicieron nada. Yo ya no estoy alli y exijo una devolución total, miren el registro y verán que me he comunicado con ustedes varias veces. No me cambiaron de habitación la puerta no cerraba el balcón estaba todo sucio lleno de caca de aves de por lo menos un mes. Todo empolvado. La televisión ni el frio bar funcionaban.. El personal no habla en inglés. Y tienen un muy mal trato. Las habitaciones todas sucias la ropa de cama sucia la ropa de baño sucia. Y ustedes no han hecho nada. y por si fuera poco la puerta no cerraba, teniamos que cargar lo importante durante todo el dia y en la noche poner las maletas detrás de la puerta.

⭐ Très mauvaise expérience avec Hotels.com Je n’ai pas pu séjourner dans l’hôtel que j’avais réservé et payé via Hotels.com : à mon arrivée, la chambre n’était tout simplement pas disponible, alors qu’elle m’avait été vendue comme réservation non remboursable. Le réceptionniste m’a même indiqué que j’étais la 4ᵉ personne dans la même situation. Je trouve cela inadmissible, d’autant plus qu’il était 23h et que j’étais en famille. Il fallait trouver une solution immédiatement. Malgré l’urgence, Hotels.com et l’hébergement se renvoyaient la responsabilité et on m’a demandé d’attendre jusqu’à 72 heures. J’ai finalement ouvert un litige via PayPal et, quelques jours plus tard, j’ai été remboursée. Une expérience très stressante et un service client qui n’a pas été à la hauteur. Je ne passerai plus par Hotels.com.

Habitación con vistas preciosas al mar, además de ser grande, amplia, y cómoda. Balcón amplio y bien equipado, donde hacer unas fotos espectaculares!!! Personal muy atento y siempre intentando ayudar en todo. Desayuno muy bueno y variado. Ubicación excelente, céntrica y cerca de muchos lugares de interés y de la Medina. Repetiríamos mil veces!!! Recomendable 100%.
