Located in a largely ethnically Turkish neighborhood of Brussels, the Hotel Meribél is located not far from the Brussels Nord station (one stop to the airport), the Botanical Gardens, and the Botanique metro stop. It is about a 20-minute walk to the Grand Place down the Rue Royale. The property itself looks to be renovated in a building constructed for another purpose, and my room was on the small side (though fairly typical for this kind of family-owned property). There was plentiful hot water in the shower, the bed was comfortable, and there is a small backyard off the dining area off the lobby. Continental breakfast begins at 7:00 on weekdays and consists of a variety of sliced meats, cheeses, vegetables, and fruits, with cereal, yogurt, and dried fruits along with a variety of fresh (as in brought in from the bakery each morning) pastries and breads, juices and milk. There is a coffee machine available 24/7. While I did not find the neighborhood to be unsafe, one walking routes from Brussels Nord to the hotel takes you through the red light district. If you like pide (Turkish pizza) and similar foods, there are many good dining options close at hand. It’s not far from the Rogierplein and two very popular (but touristy) shopping streets.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation auf Englisch lief ohne Probleme. Das Zimmer war sauber, nur die Schiebetür zum Badezimmer hat gequietscht und geharkt, was vor allem bei einem nächtlichen Toilettengang nicht besonders angenehm für den Partner war. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet, man hatte alles was man brauchte! Insgesamt für zwei Nächte vollkommen ausreichend.

Oda temizdi. Her gün temizlendi, çöpler boşaltıldı. Havlular yenilendi. Bakım ve özen olarak 10/10. Merkeze yürüme mesafesinde Botanik Parkın içinden gezerek gidebileceğimi önerdiler öyle de yaptım. Çok güzel bir deneyimdi. Otel etrafındaki restoran ve marketleri girişte anlattılar. 24 saat resepsiyon sayesinde bazen anahtarımı yanımda taşımak zorunda kalmadım. Çalışanlar kibar ve yardımcı. Oda geniş, havadar ve rahattı. Bir kez daha gelecek olsam mutlaka burada konaklarım. Tavsiye ediyorum. Fiyat ve performans olarak da gayet iyi. Merkeze yakın, ulaşımı kolay- arka sokaktan tramvay geçiyor.

This hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star property; it is closer to a 2-star experience. The room had no air conditioning, only a small fan, and the temperature exceeded 29°C, making it very uncomfortable. The towels and bed sheets were of poor quality, and the bathroom was in bad condition, with a partially broken shower. I had read in previous reviews that the breakfast was excellent, but this was not my experience. Food items that should have been refrigerated such as fruit, cheese, and cold cuts, were left exposed, with many flies around them, which was both unappetizing and concerning from a hygiene perspective. Overall, I am very disappointed and genuinely surprised by the rating this hotel has on Hotels.com.

Das Zimmer war klein aber schön, sogar ein Wasserkocher und Kaffee war vorhanden. Kostenloses Wasser stand auch bereit, das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und es gab reichlich Auswahl. Die Lage war sehr zentral, würden wieder dort übernachten.

Zimmer sind nicht groß aber sauber. Schallisolierung ist nicht so gut, man hört andere Gäste durch die Tür und Decke, das ist aber noch in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist gut. Wer den Parkplatz mitbenutzen möchte darf kein breites Auto fahren, wir sind nur mit eingeklapptem Außenspiegel durch das Tor gekommen. Generell ist Brüssel mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu empfehlen. Metro Station ist 5min zu Fuß entfernt. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt dort gut. Preis Leistung stimmt.

Pulizia della stanza molto buona! Colazione fantastica dal dolce al salato. Posizione buona vicino al centro (15 minuti a piedi) e vicino alla metropolitana Botanique (5 minuti a piedi). C'è un grosso micione nella hall dove si serve anche la colazione: io adoro gli animali ma non credo che tutti siano dello stesso parere...e soprattutto, essendo molto affettuoso sale sulle sedie di chi fa colazione e forse non è molto igienico. Comunque molto positivo il tutto, anche la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale.

Si trova a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Brusselles Noord. Il che è comodo per muoversi, e non ha il problema di stare nei dintorni della stazione, Il personale è gentile, la struttura è pulita, la colazione offre una buona gamma di scelta di prodotti. Nella stanza, pulita ogni giorno, ho trovato anche una bottiglietta d'acqua omaggio. C'era un problema con l'asciugacapelli ma è stato risolto sostituendolo. Quindi massima disponibilità e cortesia. Se dovessi tornare a Bruxelles, sicuro tornerei ad alloggiare qui. Nei dintorni c'è un minimarket aperto H24 ed una lavanderia a gettone. Per mangiare in qualche ristorante tipico è necessario camminare un pò, ma ne vale la pena.
