Gorgeous hotel on a stunning beach with 2 wonderful pools to relax around. The staff are very kind and helpful. The only slight niggle was the bed had a big dip in it where too many people had slept in it, the mattress needs changing to make it more comfortable. I can’t dock them a star for that though, it was by far the best place we stayed in Madagascar and far more luxurious than everywhere else.

This is the best you can get in Mordova. Rustic , good tasty dinner , poor breakfast , no boiled eggs … great massage and very cheap . When going on a trip to the villages if you did not bring by pens etc to give away to the village kids , a great experience is to buy them lots of waters , cookies etc in the local store and get one of the adults to give it away to all the kids . They are do grateful and it makes a great photo . You can get your Princess Diana moment.

Great place about 100m from Water, but surrounded by beach/sand. Short walk along beach to Morondava sign past several smaller resorts and some SL persistent hawkers (but not threatening). Water not v conducive to swimming. Pools lovely but not much in the way of amenities (a sloped pool table). Rooms lovely with insect nets & our room had AC…not sure if they all do….but it gets v hot. Staff lovely. Food hit and miss. Don’t miss Kirindy & sunset & sunrise Baobab Ave (hotel can arrange with their car)

8/10 Very good

Palissandre is a wonderful property with 32 charming bungalows lining the coast. From your bungalow's porch, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, walk the beach, or enjoy one of the 2 pools. We arrived in early January when the temperatures were quite hot. Our A/C unit worked, but could not maintain a pleasurable temperature, unfortunately. The staff is friendly and helpful, although we did feel at times we had to wait a fairly long time to receive food and drink after ordering, which might have been a symptom of the off-season we were visiting during.

Personale molto attento.

2/10 Poor

Better stayelsewhere

Bad smell in tje bathroom, AC barely works (one can only feel it when directly under), bathroom door requires an athletic effort to open. Poor room design: the wardrobe is in the toilet. The food in the restaurant is not good buy the service is correct.

Enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. Be patient for hot water in shower —it took about 5 minutes the first day—but all good after that. Beautiful, safe and all staff was friendly
