This is a great spot in a great location! Staff is great - I just called them when I was 30 minutes out and they met me at the entrance to let me in, and allowed me to leave my things in the room even though it was not ready yet as I arrived at 9:30am. The location is fantastic, quick walk to the ferry and tons of great dinner spots. The staff sends you some great recs on WhatsApp as well when you’re there. There is no formal front desk so be prepared to communicate through WhatsApp - you enter through an art gallery and then go up ~5 small flights of stairs to get to the rooms. Staff is great though and brought up my luggage for me. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at palace tartaglia! The area was super close to the port and right in the middle of old town. The staff were extremely responsive, especially when we had an issue with our shower. They fixed it immediately. The room was extremely comfy and clean. Would recommend for anyone visiting Split!

Perfect location and a great place to stay for a few days. Located right in the heart of the Old Town, just next to the Riva promenade, the location couldn’t be better. The rooms were nice, clean, and had a comfortable bed. Communication with host via whatsup. The only downside was that the room felt a little impersonal. A kettle would also have been a nice addition — perhaps there was one, but I didn’t see it. There’s a small supermarket just a few metres away, and the harbour where the boats depart is only about a 5-minute walk. Overall, a perfect place to stay for a few days! /Solo traveler

Central location in an interesting building through a gallery. Even though it was centrally located it was quiet enough. Nice shower. The young man who checked us in was really nice and took our bag up the stairs for us (quite a few stairs btw). If gladly stay here again
