Although it’s a little expensive the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The decor in the rooms was fantastic. There is plenty of parking and it is located close to the centre of town. There is also a collection of First World War artefacts. Which was very interesting. We didn’t have breakfast as we thought it was a little expensive for a continent breakfast.

Greeted with a smile at reception the formalities were quickly completed. We were provided with a city map and shown places of interest. Our room was delightful with tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was splendid with a comprehensive buffet and in addition a chef was on duty cooking eggs etc to order. All front of house staff and waiting staff we met were fluent in English and very friendly. A good experience all round.

Very well placed for visiting Ypres centre. Parking was free and secure. Room was very good all round. We would definitely stay here again. Restaurant and bar are expensive relative to the alternatives in a very short walk of the hotel.
