The main person working we saw during our stay was Maria who was very friendly and helpful, couldn’t ask for more from her. The property basically did what we needed it to do. It was clean , breakfast was sufficient and the shower worked a treat , as did the air con which was most definitely needed during our stay. Would recommend.

We cannot express how wonderful our time was at Palozzo Benzo. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Amazing AC especially during the heat wave that hit Palermo. The traditional breakfast was absolutely delicious and helped to fuel us for the long hot days exploring all of Palermo. Thank you to our gracious host. She was so accommodating to our family. We cannot wait to return and stay here again.

Pleasant stay

The location was perfect just outside the main hub , the receptionist she was fabulous very welcoming and helped us with maps and advice to see and navigate around the city . Our room was comfortable good sized double and plenty of bedroom furniture and a good shower. Breakfast was a good standard with decent coffee. Pleased with our 4 night stay.

Only stayed 1 night, wish I had booked a longer stay. Room was clean and exactly what we needed for our stay. Breakfast had wonderful fresh pastries and cakes. Only place we encountered with instant coffee, but the fresh cake more than made up for that. Beautifully restored apartment. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to drop off luggage early (9am) after getting off overnight ferry.

8/10 Very good

The property was located in a convenient area, within walking distance to the main markets, other sights, and the airport bus stop. The host was kindly enough to arrange check-in at a time convenient to us, and the communication was smooth. The room itself was large, but the mattress felt a bit old. We loved the balcony and the view it offered. The breakfast spread was good! We also appreciated the elevator, a rare amenity in older European buildings.

8/10 Very good

We had a triple room here which was great, it was clean and spacious. Germano was a very good host, with great communication throughout. The only downside we had was that the aircon unit for this room was very small, so struggled to cool down the room during the very hot weather, which made it difficult to get to sleep. Otherwise i would stay here again.

The room and dining area was very clean. Maria the host was very helpful and charming. The breakfast and coffee was delightful and well balanced. There is always filtered cold water and hot water ready to go. The place is filled with art and chandeliers. It’s a great place for families, and breakfast is a great time to mingle with travelers from all over the world. Love this place. Feels very safe.
