We had a wonderful stay - which was only supposed to last one night. But the city and hotel were so impressive we decided to stay two more nights.

Hotel Palacio de Ubeda was a wonderful stay. Perfectly located to all around the area - walkable city. Staff were extremely friendly and assisted us when required. Highly recommended.

6/10 Good

The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Úbeda, with all of the city's historic attractions, restaurants, bars and shops just a short walk away. Our room was exceptionally spacious, perhaps even larger than necessary. Unfortunately, the layout felt impractical, and the furniture and fittings appeared mismatched, with some pieces lacking quality. Despite the generous size of the room, there was very little drawer or shelf space for clothing and shoes, and the wardrobe contained only four mismatched hangers. The overall impression was one of style taking precedence over functionality. The hotel itself is a beautiful historic building, featuring impressive marble staircases that add to its character and charm. However, this contrast made the worn and rather dirty beige carpeting in the corridors all the more noticeable. Overall, this is a good hotel in an excellent location, but it could be truly exceptional with greater attention to detail and maintenance.

Beautiful, restored hotel. Loved the location in the center of Ubeda. Near good restaurants. Good bed. Quick in-and-out valet parking. We only had one issue ....cold to lukewarm water in the shower. The hotel offered to move us to another room. We declined the offer, but they were very accommodating.

Stayed one night as travelling north. Didi’t use the pool. In house restaurant was empty but lots of choice of good food close by. Reception personnel were excellent, knowledgeable about the history of olive oil. Would stay again.

The rooftop swimming pool was so nice, and we were so lucky we had it to ourselves, it almost felt like being at our place. A real treat given how scorching the weather was in Úbeda those days

8/10 Very good

A sold 8/10, good size rooms, mine was a roof room, I could imagine this would get very warm during the summer months, the bed and bedding were excellent, the room was a little tired, the velux blinds frayed around the edges, as a result they let light in. The outdoor roof pool is unusable, wonderful veiws from up there, but the space really needs a make over. I didn't use the spa. The location is amazing, the staff wonderfull, the parking is problematic, the Bar is great, I didn't use the resteraunt. I honestly would sray here again, it represents good value for money. In fact I'm very much looking forward to going back to Ubeda! Amazing part of the world.
