Great place for sleeping

DBU works well for us. It is kind of a "no frills" place to stay but it works really well with parking, sleeping, free coffee/tea/water, a fridge to store cold things and a lounge where you are able to sit and relax and watch TV. You can choose to have breakfast or not. Easy to get to and plenty of possibility for shopping near by. And it is a very quiet place.

Great self service hotel! Provided lovely breakfast. Good value for Aarhus, it is out of the centre which likely contributes to the lower price. But we didn’t mind this! It’s a quiet peaceful area out of the hustle and bustle, then about 20-30 mins into the centre via bus. An unconventional way to do it, but it works!

Rented out Dormitory. Not really a hotel.

Although they have "in-suite" rooms, they are still quite simple and the beds are not next to each other, but end-to-end. Costs in Denmark are high so if you need to control prices this will work, but don't expect a high-end hotel. It is more like a dormitory.

First of all, the mattresses all had some kind of yellow and red stain all over them. The room was full of spiders and mosquitoes. The window kept open and did not have a lock (we were on the lower level room. In the morning there were people running by our door on the outside and screaming (there is a school and football field nextdoor. The breakfast was just bread, and juices (very very very basic). The best part was probably the parking lot which was gated and secure with a code. I've expressed my concerns from day one and was told that the stains don't count if they are under the sheets (first time in history that I've heard this from any management). Very very disappointed.

Lite slitet, sprickor i golvet, lite dåligt städad. (Dammigt, fläckar, skräp etc från tidigare gäst kvar under sängen.) Slarvigt utförd vardagsstädning, med tecken på oregelbunden grovstädning. Rummet är ok men ser ut som ungdomar brukar städar det som inte uppmärksammar spill och damm, samt rutinmässigt bara städar de fria, lättillgängliga ytorna. Hårtork, strykbräda etc finns att hämta, finns inte på rummet. Shampo: ta med eget. Hotellet hade skumtvålsdispensrar till både hand- och hårtvätt. Eventuellt felaktigt påfyllning i duschen? Det fanns bara en dispenser i duchen. Bra: stor matsal m mikro, vattenkokare, bestick, porslin, gratis te/kaffe, gemensam kyl. Tillgänglig 24/7. Standardrum funkar för liten manuell rullstol men man tar sig in/ut från rummet via bakgården då. OBS: lång, brant ramp! Bra att ha med elhjälpmedel. Parkering: inhängnad m kodlås som man inte når från bilen! Grinden är öppen en stund så man hinner lasta rullstolen i/ur eller så parkerar man på gatan. Gatuparkering: gratis, plant, bred lung gata.
