Our deluxe room was supposed to have a kitchenette. It had a hole where an oven should have been and a bare wire. It also had a small induction hot plate on the counter and the filthiest oily cast iron pan on it. When my husband complained he was told “ oh you’ve got that room have you? We’ve been waiting for the kitchenette all summer”. Not a word of apology. The fridge is on the balcony and washing up has to be done in the bathroom basin. Far from deluxe !!! On a positive note the view is great.

Clean room , friendly staff. Mark was very helpful and friendly. Morning Mountain View was fantastic. We could use the microwave for dinner and breakfast to heat up our food. Convenient store has variety of food and snacks even Alcohol. Great place to rest and enjoy night after skookumchuck narrows trailhead. Want to come back again.

Booked a room at the Bathgate motel during Xmas time. The town of Egmont was super quiet (we barely saw people outside). The room has a beautiful ocean marina and ocean view. It also has a balcony where you can enjoy a coffee or a meal.

Waterfront room balcony with beautiful view of snow covered mountains. Very close to skookumchuck provincial park and one museum. Kitchen has all the necessary things, except oven ( room 202).
