When I booked the room under your website, it did not tell me it was a two week cancellation. I thought it was a 48 hour cancellation like most hotels are under hotels.com. I called to cancel 2 1/2 days in advance because my husband got called out to work. The lady on the phone at mansions told me she would try to rebook it and would definitely let me know because she could not refund me. They never once called me back. So I paid $250 for absolutely nothing. Shame on hotels.com and shame on them. I do have the ladies name that answered the phone at the place that promised she would call me back and never did.

Une très belle maison, confortable, et un accueil très attentionné. Petit-déjeuner servi à table très copieux, et de qualité. Mon fils et moi avons beaucoup aimé, ma fille et ma femme ne mangeant pas d’œufs, bien que ne pouvoir choisir ce qu’elles souhaitaient ont eu en remplacement yaourth / granola / framboises très bon pour ceux qui aiment. Un très joli cadre, mais dommage la piscine avaient été supprimée (bétonnée) il y a peu : à priori pour offrir un espace de réception extérieur. Le seul vrai bémol est la climatisation réglée trop froide pour nous, avec une commande enfermée sous clé qu’on ne pouvait pas régler.

Wir haben 3 Nächte in der Presidential Suite gewohnt (Beschreibung war zutreffend). Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht von der Suite aus bedienen. Wir haben gefroren. Frühstück wurde am Tisch serviert, war reichhaltig, aber inhaltlich nicht besonders. Da die Suite keinen Tisch hatte, auf dem man einen Laptop betreiben konnte, mußten wir im Frühstücksraum sitzen, der aber ganztägig für Frühstück eingedeckt war. Die Halle stand Übernachtungsgästen nicht zur Verfügung. Sie wurde für Events wie Baby Shower benötigt. Dann muß man sich zum Seiteneingang rausschleichen. Der Outdoor-bereich war kaum nutzbar. Der Pool war mit Sand zugeschüttet und der daneben befindliche Sitzbereich mit Staubschichten bedeckt. Das hatten wir uns anders vorgestellt.

Nous occupions la suite Juliet pour 4 personnes : un grand lit et un canapé lit. La maison est très belle avec un magnifique parc. Néanmoins je n’ai pas apprécié que l’établissement m’indique après avoir réservé que la piscine était en travaux “cette semaine là “ alors qu’elle a été comblée définitivement. De la même manière le ménage n’a pas été effectué entre nos deux nuits (nous séjournions sur un we et plus personne de présent après le petit déjeuner). Baignoire spa interdite d’utilisation sous peine de 500 dollars d’amendes. Bref tout n’est pas à jour pour les équipements.

The Juliet room is well designed and put together. It was an awesome first time experience coming from two first time parents first getaway. I do plan to book again soon and so have many people we shared this getaway with.

Great location for a short stay. We were friendly greeted on arrival and received a tour of the house and patio/pool area. Everything is well maintained and clean. There was a welcome sign with our name which is always very nice and personable touch. The breakfast was great and more than enough. If we would have to point out one thing it is that we noticed it is really run like a business. They have a staff who run the place brilliantly but it’s not like we felt visiting the actual owners like you often feel with B&Bs. But that does not take away any of the great experience.

What an absolute gorgeous property!! We stayed in the Bayou Room. About <10 min from stores, good food, Costco, etc. This was probably our most favorite stay during our cross country reign. The checkin was so easy and the staff was so sweet. I’m so sad we didn’t get to enjoy home cooked breakfast as we booked a swamp tour early morning but definitely hope to stay again if we pass thru. 10/5 stars!!!!

Wonderful location for exploring Arcadiana. Honme and rooms at the B and B are beautiful. Gracious hosts and service. Need clear directions for using tv (Firestick). but terrific central spot for visiting Abbeville, New Iberia, Breaux Bridge, and Lafayette over a few days.
