Property is tired. Occasionally rooms were serviced. No hot water first day etc. Staff were friendly but other than that this place should not be in business. I rate them a 1 out of 10 and the reason they get one is for pleasant staff

Hotel and grounds have definitely not been updated in a very long time. The pics are probably from when the hotel opened and are not accurate at this time. Found someone’s night cap behind the bedside table and small ants in the room. Staff was very nice and had an enjoyable time in the bar area. Excellent seafood quesadillas!

The bartender/ dining hostess wasn’t so pleasant. Did not tell us to go to our table or even acknowledge us. Took 10 minutes for her to walk to our table. The other staff were professional & very respectful & pleasant. Easy upgrade! Beautiful rooms & hotel. Food was AMAZING, pricey but well worth it! Will definetly book again.

This a rustic hotel, you feel that you are in the Bahamas, staff were great, yeah ok it needs a bit of tlc, but that's part of it's charm, good location, some good restaurants nearby, we had a great time here, everything happens a bit slower here, but hey! this is the Caribbean, also a must for Bob Marley fan's, we would definitely stay here again.

This is a 2 star operation

Our hotel room was not cleaned daily.The tv didn’t work. We could only get one room key which was inconvenient for the three people in the room.The loveseat in the room was very uncomfortable so they were nowhere to sit and read. The bed was so high that you had to use a stool to get into it. The grounds were noisy and there was garbage around the property and lots of broken glass and bottles in the parking lot. The breakfast was basic and the service was poor. We had to repeatedly ask for more coffee which was tempted and ask for more milk too. We asked for juice but it usually did not show up. The pool was dirty and they did not have beach chairs on the beach.Would not recommend this property to anyone.

Achtung, dies ist kein vier Sterne Hotel wie hier angegeben! Eher ein 0 Sterne Hotel. Sehr dreckig und heruntergekommen. In den Pool will man nicht gehen, trübes Wasser und alles voller toter Mücken. Zimmer auch sehr heruntergekommen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

Not worth it at all. Very disappointing.

We arrived there and it was very different than normal resorts. The front was littered with cigarette butts. Pools were being filled. You couldn’t swim at the beach. Drinks are outrageously priced, we did not try the food, but had overheard that the price was high as well. Internet and cable did not work. No phone to call for assistance. Needless to say we were there for one night. Would not recommend going and will not be returning.

The food was expensive and poor quality. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was very limited to ONE cup of coffee, ONE egg, 2 bacon slices, and toast. They never asked for refill coffee or anything else. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, many things broken, extra towels was impossible. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Went to the Marley resort on January 18th with my wife and my 11 year old son. The room I stayed was called legend and it was amazing. You have a whole apartment to yourself, living room plus bedroom and a enormous bathroom. What was most amazing was the incredible view from your huge balcony. The hotel is right on the beach literally and the beach was very private. The whole time I was the it’s was just us on the beach and nobody else. The beach was beautiful but it was really wavy at times and that could be due to the season we went. The staff at Marley resort are really laid back and easy going and their service was amazing. The food at hotel restaurant is definitely tasty but also comes with a big price tag. I ate at the resort still but also right across the street you have a pizza place, Asian restaurant and a grocery store so on some days we would just eat out which was much more affordable. If you are looking for a quite relaxing place in the Bahamas that doesn’t have that busy resort feel then this is the place for you.

la struttura si trova in un posto fantastico, ma lascia molto a desiderare la pulizia e no solo della camera ma di tutta la struttura, un tappo dello shampoo che abbiamo trovato in doccia al nostro arrivo,dopo 13 gg era ancora in doccia. bottiglie bicchieri lasciati in giro per il residence stavo li anche 4 giorni, li abbiamo raccolti noi. Si sono dimenticati di farci la camera almeno per tre volte e non venivano mai puliti i pavimenti, ma rifatto il letto e cambiati a volte gli asciugamani. I prezzi per una birra dentro il resort a dire fuori di testa, infatti tutti si portavano bibite e cibo dall'esterno. In camera la cassaforte era distrutta, ma no gliene interessato. Un vero peccato perchè il personale è cortese ma il posto va decisamente tenuto molto meglio

The best attribute of this property was the view. The view was amazing from our room/balcony. However, there were several cons that need attention. The hot tub was ice cold during our 5 day stay even though we told staff about it. When we arrived, there were no towels in our room and a half full roll of toilet tissue. The floors were dirty in our room. The carpet on the steps going up to our room was stained and filthy. We had to ask from towels and toilet tissue on several occasions. The continental breakfast was good, but you are only allowed one cup of coffee or one cup of juice. Coffee refills cost $4 each and you are not told this up front. The front office hours are not consistent so you never know when someone is available. There was a private event during our stay that we not aware of until it was happening. During the event, the paying resort guests were treated like they were not paying guests. They closed down the bar and restaurant to the resort guests, with no prior warning. I will not stay here again and would not recommend this resort to others.

The property has the potential to be really nice but everything is falling apart. The tile that lines the pool is falling off and the pool and hot tub are not maintained, murky and dirty. Trash isn't picked up, fresh towels weren't available, our room wouldn't lock properly and the shower didn't work. There is trash and junk piled up everywhere, it's just kind of sad, really.

Upon arrival you were greeted wonderfully by the staff. Shawna gave us a tour of the property while waiting to check in as we were early. Throughout our stay Shawna and Anthony were very kind and helpful. The continental breakfast consist of one egg, one toast, one piece of bacon or one muffin and some days fruit other is not. One evening the restaurant was closed before 5 PM and when we went to eat they told us they had to close due to bad weather, it was just rain. they also closed on Christmas day without warning guests. The rooms were not cleaned regularly and our carpet seems like it had not been vacuumed in months and months. They did not replenish the water, coffee, soaps and even the towels when we had tossed them on the floor or toilet paper without asking. The jacuzzi tub did not work and I kept getting told they were busy but would send somebody up eventually which never happens. The swimming pools and hot tub appeared to need major cleaning. The hallways and stairwells were never washed or swept the whole time we were there and horribly filthy. The location was not horrible but it was on the west end of town making it a long walk to get into town. The views were spectacular. After talking to many other guests they told me that had the same experiences. For the price I paid I would not stay at this resort again.

Friendly people with a smile However everyday we had to complain for bathroom tissue,shampoo,towels, The bed was 4 feet in height so I had to use a chair to climb up No telephone in the room ,to communicate between rooms. No hair blower in the room;we requested one and we got it 2 days later

Huge disappointment and mistake

Marley resort has been the biggest disappointment and ripoff of my extensive vacation history. We stayed 6 nights unfortunately. Our first room had no warm water to shower with a small frog jumped out of the drain onto my foot. We switched rooms the following day to the “Legend” room which was supposed to be deluxe and had to leave our room each time to get WiFi. On 2 occasions there were no towels in the room until 7 PM. On some days there weren’t even pool towels. My parent had no toilet paper and had to come to the front desk to ask for some. Old shampoo bottles and bars of soap were in the bathroom before we checked in. The included breakfast was scrambled eggs with bacon with no other option. Unlike most resorts in the area that offer a heated pool, this hotel does not and the pool is colder than the ocean. The hot tub stopped working on the third day and nothing was done to fix it. To say this establishment is a total embarrassment is an understatement. We paid 400 DOLLARS per night at this place and it rivals a hostel not even a motel. Please save your money and go elsewhere. I’m appalled by the poor management and service and wouldn’t recommend staying here ever. You’d be better off at a much cheaper chain that actually has standards.

Charming and Funky! Short bus ride from town.

Lovely room in a quirky, funky, boutique hotel. Lots of interesting memorabilia and accents. Ocean view room was amazing! Spacious, bright, balcony overlooking the ocean. Not a lot of beach area or ways to walk is the only drawback, in my opinion
