First off it is a lodge/hostel. Most of the rooms are shared spaces and bunks. If you appreciate your privacy this place is not for you. We had a double room (2 twin beds pushed together). There was a sink in the room, no ac and no tv even though the description does say there’s a tv. It wasn’t a big deal for us not having a tv. It just might be for other people expecting one. The bathroom was a clean shared three stall unisex room that the floor shared. The entire facility was very clean and well maintained. Showers are downstairs on the lower level. Breakfast was fine. It’s easily accessible from the Grindelwald Grund train station and a short walk from the Grindelwald terminal.

Clean, good location (near nature, hikes, but 25min downhill from Main Street), free breakfast was excellent, you can ask for free towels. Lock on door didn’t always seem to work but felt safe. Guests were all nice and respectful.

Breathtaking view… we loved the vibe of this stay..super friendly helpful staff…sparkling clean restrooms and common areas…great little restaurant just a minute outside…cozy rooms… free breakfast..lots to do nearby…we didn’t have a restroom in our room but it was very close by and extremely clean.

For the price the place is perfect. Breakfast is amazing. Staff ia very helpful. Parking is 5 Euro a day. 5 min walk from bys stations, train starion and lots of gondolas. There ia a CoOp Grocery store right next to the property.

Amazing hostel.. the scenery from the hostel was breath-taking. Staff was extremely helpful. Top notch breakfast in the morning. Clean restroom and kitchen. Overall, excellent spot for bag packers and solo travelers. You get to meet friendly people from all over the world. However, I don’t think I would stay there with family.
