Ali Baba and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable. Ali Baba kindly drove us to Ephesus free of charge. The breakfast spread was great and I would highly recommend eating at his restaurant which was delicious home cooked food for very good prices. The house was clean and comfortable and in a nice quiet area. We wish we had stayed another night.

I highly recommend staying at Ali babas. Him and his wife are very sweet host. Their place was clean the a/c worked, bed was comfy and the shower had hot water, that’s all I needed. Their restaurant is a 5 min walk from the residence and the Kababs were delicious, if you haven’t been to the restaurant as yet then you need to go!

Everyone who we met was lovely, the Turkish breakfast was fabulous, the rooms tru to pictures, (traditional turkish town house). Alis Restaurant around the corner from house served fantastic turkish fare, very reasonably priced. Gozlem is our favourite. Highly recommend. Xx

I am happy to come back here every year, to this wonderful family of Ali and Elmas! I am happy to come back to this cozy, kind, clean house, where you are always welcomed with joy, understanding and love! The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, there is breakfast, there is always coffee and tea! This house is located close to all the attractions! Everything is accessible, and shops, and a bazaar and sweets, everything is 10 minutes from the house. It is quiet, calm, cozy here. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy Turkish culture and color!

Ali Baba et ses proches sont adorables, spéciale dédicace pour la délicieuse Aïcha. En plus, l’hôtel est très confortable, en centre ville mais à l’abri de l’agitation, on s’y sent vraiment bien sous la tonnelle du petit déjeuner.

Das Haus hat eine gute Lage, das Auto konnten wir auch direkt in der Straße abstellen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett gemütlich. Leider gab es in unserem Zimmer überhaupt keinen Platz um ein Koffer aufzumachen, dass war sehr unpraktisch. Die zwei großen Sessel machen das Zimmer zwar hübsch, aber nehmen unnötig viel Platz weg. Im Bad gab es keine Möglichkeit ein Handtuch aufzuhängen, war sehr unbequem. Kein WI-FI im Zimmer, aber Gutes im Aufenthaltsraum. Ein gutes Frühstück gab es um 9 Uhr. Die Besitzer waren hilfsbereit und freundlich.

I had a problem with what they said they were offering and what I got. No toiletries, my room wasn’t cleaned each day, nobody did anything to it. But what I was most upset with is the breakfast. It was not a Buffett and they seemed to make it when they felt like it. Not at 8. Nobody stays at the property so you have to wait for them to show up to make it, first day it was around 8:15 that someone showed up to start cooking, second day I asked for breakfast at 8 for I had to get going. They said no problem, so at 8 the next morning the wife walks in to start. I had breakfast at 8:30. Which meant I was an hour behind my schedule, nice people but what they advertise and I paid for is not what I received.

Wonderful hosts and clean, large room close to everything but on a quiet street. Delicious breakfasts and Ali gave us a lift to Ephesus which was much appreciated. Everyone at Alababa’s were so nice and a pleasure to meet!

I always come back here. To this wonderful family, these wonderful people, this clean and cozy house! There are wonderful people here, a wonderful kind family, Elmas and Ali. They always go out of their way, always help, they have delicious breakfasts, clean water, coffee and tea are always available. Everywhere is clean, calm, and here you can stay safe! Very close to St John’s Basillica (8min walk), 2 mins from Ali Baba’s restaurant- home cooked traditional food at a low price. 7 min walk to the train. Room was large and clean. Bathroom also large and clean. Breakfast included keeps you going till 3pm. Ali works hard to make your stay great.

Otele giriş yaptıktan sonra konaklamaya dair yeterli bilgi verilmedi. (Kahvaltı saati vs.) Odalar temiz ve ferah. Odaların bulunduğu katta sigara içilen açık alan var, oraya koltuk konulmuş müşterilerin konforu düşünülerek fakat gece geç saatlere kadar orada oturup sohbet eden insanlar olabiliyor ve diğer odalara çok ses geliyor. Ayrıca bahçe katında görevli personelin de ses ve gürültü konusunda biraz hassas olması gerekiyor. Aşağıdan ve odanın bulunduğu kattan gelen seslerden dolayı uyuyamadık ve sonunda uyarmak zorunda kaldık. Bunun dışında konum olarak iyi ve tercih edilebilir.
