Checked in off-season at the last minute, and was still received very warmly. Spotless, nice room. Be aware that the hotel is right under an ancient railway bridge - if a train should pass, the noise will be not less than when the world ends … Otherwise really great.

Beautiful area. Rooms are small and basic, but that was clear on the website, so don’t expect much. We had car troubles and had to check in after the registration closed. We called ahead and they were super helpful. Unfortunately, that meant we missed enjoying the property and breakfast, but everything looked wonderful. Very friendly staff.

This was a nice hotel for an overnight stay during a long road trip. One of the highlights was being able to watch the World Cup final in a comfortable common area together with other guests, which created a great atmosphere. We also had dinner at the restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious local cuisine, including elk. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a good selection of options. There were just a couple of minor inconveniences. The TV in our room wasn’t working, and although we had a private bathroom, it was located outside the bedroom, requiring us to cross a public corridor to reach it. This wasn’t a major issue for a one-night stay, but we would have appreciated knowing this before booking so we could have considered our options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good place to rest while travelling through the area.

Great stopover, stunning location. Interesting setup, beautiful & comfy cabin-style rooms and nice food albeit limited menu. Geared around fishing groups which can be up late & noisy. Sounds travels, so ask for upstairs room away from any groups, if you can.

Very noisy rooms

Very noisy rooms, our room was right on the highway with traffic going on all night long( photo id from the window). Not what I was expecting when reading the hotels description. Not to mention that the bridge passing over the hotel is a train bridge that is still in use ( got woken up by a 6AM train, a very relaxing experience…). Food was good and the room was clean but I would not recommend staying there if you need to relax on your way up or down.
