Sitting in the hot tub amidst the ruins of a Roman amphitheater was beyond all great travel experiences.
Excellent chef, with a respectful eye towards organic and local tradition. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but far superior to the tourist restaurants in the center. Beautiful breakfast buffet, homemade pastries, and bread like bread should be made.
The experience is worth every penny.
This was my first time in Italy and first time in Europe in 24 years. I chose this place because of the location not being close to the city and the great amenities. Located in a nice little town of 122 people with its own church next door, this hotel was perfect.

We hit the jackpot when we found Brunelli! Very conveniently located, the rooms were spotless and the staff (Alisia) was great. Several excellent restaurants nearby and the breakfast has a nice variety to choose from.
If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you but Assisi is hard on anyone with mobility issues.
The location cannot be better, 3 minutes from St. Francis basilica.
The hotel is very clean, we stayed 3 nights and had service every day. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Special thanks to Wilma, who became instantly our friend 🙂 she speaks English fluently and gave us some good hints and help us with arranging taxi to Perugia.

Asis the town of St Francis of Asis, what an experice, I would love to leave in a little old town like that, the love that we felt in Asis is unexplainable, you have to be there.
This place is a must stay if you are in Gubbio. The facilities are fantastic, the owners and staff are terrific. Our room was beautiful, clean and quiet. The view from the room was amazing.

This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay. However, instead of spending time at the pool as planned, we drove a short distance to the charming town of Assisi. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend getaway at San Biagio and look forward to...
