It was a very nice room and a very clean hotel. However, be aware that there’s a transparent shower window into the bedroom so if you are not traveling with your spouse or partner, you might want to consider that. It’s somewhat opaque at the bottom but still awkward. I asked the front desk if there were any other room rooms and she said all the rooms are the same. Otherwise, the price was great great staff great hotel.

This hotel is very well located, on the #1 bus line 5 mins from the train station. The hotel receptionist provided us with all the information we needed. The breakfast is excellent. Not so good: Soft beds and lumpy pillows.

We only spend one night in that hotel and we thought it was great. We ate in the restaurant and it was very good. The room was big and clean as was the bathroom. A minor problem about the bathroom was that the blind could not be wound down, as the mechanism was broken, and although the window was opaque glass, with the light on we felt a little exposed. The location was great and we were given a free passes for the bus to Thun town centre which we did use. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant. Parking was on site and secure. We would not hesitate to stay in hotel Holiday if we were in the area again.

The location was good. There was a bus stop near by. We were given free bus tickets and discount on entries to areas in the city. The only problem was the lack of air-conditioning. However we were given two fans. The breakfast was good. The other problem was that the hotel desk closes at 9 pm. You need to tell them in advance if you're arriving late.

We drove the whole day from Amsterdam to get to this hotel. When we arrived, the hotel was completely closed with no staff available to help us. We had to drive back and look for another hotel late at night. This is the first time I have ever seen a hotel completely closed without any staff at all. On top of that, I asked for a refund because we received no service, but they refused to refund my money. Very disappointing experience.

Bei dieser starken Sommerhitze wär ein Ventilator im Zimmer sehr erwünscht. Ebenso wäre eine Flasche Mineral - stilles und / oder mit Kohlensäure - eine eine wunderbare Geste für Hotelgäste. Die Kaffeemaschinen beim Frühstück sollten in dieser Zeit betreut bzw. Gewartet werden; ist es doch ohne Kaffee am Morgen schrecklich!! Vor allem wenn beide Maschinen ausfallen.

Völlig überteuert und unprofessionell – Unwürdig für ein Schweizer Hotel!Wir waren zu zweit in diesem Hotel und sind massiv enttäuscht. Die Zimmerpreise sind für das, was hier geboten wird, eine absolute Frechheit und eines Schweizer Hotels unwürdig. Ich hätte niemals gedacht, in der Schweiz einmal in einer so schlechten Unterkunft zu übernachten!Das einzig Positive vorweg: Die Zimmer waren sauber und der Standort des Hotels ist wirklich super. Das war es aber leider auch schon.Der Service an der Rezeption und im Restaurant war eine absolute Katastrophe. Es hat an allen Ecken und Enden gefehlt. Das Personal besitzt extrem schlechte Deutschkenntnisse, was für ein Hotel in der Schweiz schlicht unzumutbar und peinlich ist.Die Ausstattung des Gebäudes ist völlig veraltet. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Zudem läuft die Handtuchheizung permanent auf Hochtouren und lässt sich nicht abstellen – eine solche Energieverschwendung ist in der Schweiz ab 2030 gesetzlich verboten.Man merkt an jeder Ecke, dass dieses Hotel nur vom Geld der Kunden lebt. Es wird absolut nichts in den Erhalt oder die Modernisierung des Gebäudes investiert. Hier geht es rein um Profitmaximierung und Abkassieren auf Kosten der Gäste. Für uns zwei war dieser Aufenthalt eine reine Enttäuschung. Definitiv keine Empfehlung – buchen Sie lieber etwas anderes!
