While the property and rooms appear new at first glance, our room had some normal wear and tear - upholstered desk chair was stained, bathroom shelf was damaged - and wasn't as clean as I would have preferred - the bathroom floor didn't appear to have been cleaned well. Overall, the room was tidy, but the mattresses are rock hard, doors close loudly, and thermostat seemed touchy. Aside from our room, one of the 2 elevators was out of order and the working one seemed like it was about to quit too, there was no AC in the gym, and the property is right next to a freeway so it was a bit noisy. Both front desk staff members we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. If we're ever passing through Las Cruces again, we'll probably check out a different hotel.
