Spacious and new!

Clean and spacious! Self check in with the keypad code was very convenient. We liked the layout with the breakfast nook and kitchenette - would have been perfect if there had also been a cook top! Fireplace was a nice touch. Otherwise, it was very convenient and close to downtown Seward and Exit Glacier. We would definitely stay here again

Very easy to get in the Sequioa NP from there.

This was an amazing stay. We got a lake front home. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and friendly. This was our 1/2 way point of a long trip and we were able to get some laundry done (free just bring detergent). We were there for a Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP trip and the location was great for those. There’s starlink WiFi and Verizon got great service. Plus there’s a cute little library where you can get better internet, and rent books or dvds. I highly recommend this stay. The home was very well stocked and the decor was really awesome if you’re into that sort of thing. Plus they had several property kitties that were super friendly. Definitely a highlight of our stay 🐈‍⬛ the night sky shots we got were incredible. My only warning is if you get car sick, pack some Dramamine the roads are extremely winding but the manager warned us of that ahead a time. 10/10 would stay again.

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed in house #1 and it gave our family plenty of room for all us (4 adults). The huge balcony had doors connecting from both bedrooms and the living room, and gave us a beautiful view of trees and lake on the property. The kitchen was also fully stocked with dishes so that we could easily enjoy breakfast and make picnic lunches for our day trips to Sequoia/Kings Canyon. The living room was also super spacious, and gave us lots of room to relax.

Love this place!

We can’t say enough good things about this cozy little place. We had the cabin next to the adorable little library. The room was clean and warm when we arrived. Joseph was the person who lives on property and he was wonderful! He helped us get checked in the first night and gave us some pointers for our trip the next day to Sequoia NP. We loved how quiet the property was and enjoyed our morning coffee out walking the resort. We would highly recommend this little cabin nestled in the woods!

Excellent communication with the host. They provided good details before arrival. Easy check in at the office. 30 mins from king's canyon entrance. House is spacious, but old, keep your expectations as such. Beds were comfortable. Sliding doors to the patio could use some maintenance to fix the lock and seal the daft. House got warm during the day and it took quiet long in the afternoon to cool the house. Flock of turkeys on the patio were fun to watch. I would definitely stay here again.
Anoop, 2-night trip

Great quiet getaway in great condition. No groceries or gas nearby and roads to from location are curvy. So best to travel during day.

6/10 Good

Comfortable house but remote location

Pros: Lovely people. Quiet, secluded natural setting. The house was incredibly spacious and very clean. Comfortable beds, quality bedding and towels. Secure. They've done a nice job with the furnishings. It was cold during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Cons: 1. This place really remote, even more so than it appears on the map because the roads in and out are very windy and slow. Travel time is longer than expected. Travel time to Sequoia National Park was a good 45 min and then getting around inside the park requires considerable additional driving. 2. There is 1 bar/restaurant (Pinehurst Lodge) within a one hour drive. You need to come prepared with all your groceries because the nearest grocery is at least 1 hour away. The house is not stocked with any kitchen essentials other than coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper, and DW soap. 3. The house needs more lighting but that should be easy for the management to address. 4. As you can see from the photo, this house is a triple wide modular home - very spacious but dated and worn (kitchen, bathrooms). The appliances all worked but they're old. So, it all depends on what you're looking for and what you're used to. Overall, our stay was fine. The main downside was location. Next time, we'll probably stay in the park.

National Park Visit

The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees. When we got there, he was spot on.
Alfred, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

This is a great spot about 30mins out from the Big Stump Entrance to Kings Canyon NP. There are no groceries nearby and very sparce restaurants which the property was clear about so we got groceries in Fresno before driving up. The kitchen has enough utensils for simple meals. Coffee and a few essentials like cooking oil, salt and pepper were provided. Overall a little dated but clean. We enjoyed the view from our deck and being able to explore the grounds.
5-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Was very much surprised when we arrived at our destination. House was spotless. The wifi was fast. Armando the manager was very helpful and accommodating.
Carmen, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Our hosts were tremendous, we even had our own personal barista and some great cats that I could love on and feed while I was there. The property is beautiful. It was dark skies so we saw a lot of meteors. Our cabin was gorgeous. Overlooked a lake and. the mountains ,canceled an extra night in LA to stay in Sequoia resort for one additional day.
Kim, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

When we arrived at the Sequoia Resort, Karthik greeted us and told us about all of the wonderful features of the property, including a grill and bicycles we were free to use, a lake with paddle boats we could borrow, free laundry, and a library room with books, games, DVDs, and (my favorite part) a litter of kittens that had recently been born on the property! We stayed in the guest suite, which is a studio apartment-style room with a queen-sized bed, bathroom, and kitchen. The kitchen had everything we could have needed, from pots and pans to spices. It was a great place to come back to after exploring Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park, which were nearby.
Emily, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

This is a large house for a large family. Some of the amenities are in need of some repair. The owner is responsive. The drive into the location is curvy.
