Pretty good location that was easily walkable to many things (as “easy” as it is to walk the hills of Lisbon!). Hotel felt very safe with good security measures in place. Rooms were large with good AC and nice large shower. Only complaint is the bed was quite firm but got used to it by the 3rd night. Would choose this hotel again!

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights. The location is fantastic - close to restaurants, metro and a short walk to neighborhoods in Lisbon. We stayed in a suite and it was spacious and clean. I really liked having a nice rain showerhead in the bathroom ( with fantastic pressure) as opposed to the hand held shower you see in Europe. The breakfast had a nice selection of breads, pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, juice and coffee. The staff was super helpful. Would come back and stay again

It’s an adorable property in terms of the room and over all decor. Location is fantastic in terms of things to do and proximity to metro and 28 trolley. There isn’t an elevator lots of steps on a very steep hill on the road, no one to help you check out early with baggage down the steps. Not ideal for an older or disabled person, or quite frankly anyone who is not strong enough to take luggage up or downstairs, or not in great shape to walk cobblestone hills. The billing is confusing, my reservation said I owed only one night but when I got there they said, Expedia did not charge it’s just to reserve the room. Expedia price and notification to me was in dollars via American Express. When I tried to check in using the Amex card they advised they did not take American Express. They charged us in Euro not Dollars which is higher than the agreed upon fee you/Expedia sent me. Like I said the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good the one day we were able to eat (we had an early check out they left us crackers jam and fruit in the room) , but everything else was disappointing, we would like a refund for the overcharge on the euros vs dollar additional charge.

Wonderful boutique hotel & brilliant location!

Wonderful place to stay. Brilliant location which was so close to everything we wanted. Train station just at the bottom of the road which has a supermarket too. The hotel is a lovely little boutique hotel with some really quaint touches. Very clean and all staff couldn’t be more helpful. Should I return to Lisbon .. no need to look elsewhere.. I’ll be returning to this perfect little place and will be recommending to all my friends and family. Thank you all at Alecrim so Chiado..
