My stay at this hotel included a very frightening experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I got stuck in the tiny lift for 15–20 minutes. It barely fits one person and a suitcase, and there’s no ventilation. I wasn’t calling for help, just banging on the door, and thankfully it got stuck near reception so they could hear me.
There is no backup generator, so when the electricity goes out, the lift simply stops working. I started to feel short of breath, and after I told them I couldn’t breathe properly, they eventually broke the door open to get me out. I was staying on the 5th floor and never used the lift again after that. Even during checkout, I left my suitcase in the lift and took the stairs myself because I couldn’t risk going through that again.
They offer free breakfast at a nearby 2–3 star hotel, which was okay, but honestly, the fear from that experience has stayed with me.
Cleanliness was average. They cleaned the room every other day with just a mop and a quick surface wipe. Rooms are very small and, in my opinion, not worth the price.
If you choose to stay here, do NOT use the lift. It’s not safe.
