I found this other person’s complaints on the hotel and I totally agree with everything. Once entering the room the smell is strong of “moldy” or sorts. The sheets had stains, the mirror aren’t clean, sofa had some dirt or sorts and generally doesn’t look clean. Housekeeping came said they cleaned before, I asked to change room said no spare room to change to. In the end just change the sheets and swept the floor. The new sheets had stains too. Opened the window to help air out the smell. At night came back to the smell again, found out the shower leaks water out to the toilet section, soaking the mat and slippery. Kettle looks too old and not clean, no water bottle given, there’s a water dispenser outside at the corridor and even that is not clean. Indeed everything feels like a health risk/hazard. Booked another hotel the same night and moved the next day. Hotel refused to refund, and hotels.com did not refund either. Complete waste of time and absolutely unpleasant stay. I didn’t even mind its old, but the least they could do is to maintain it clean overall. Stained sheets should be thrown away. Even the dustbin is in horrendous condition. Oh and breakfast doesn’t even refill when we went there to eat before 9am. Some pastries taste like the frozen ones, overall not impressive. Asked the waitress to clean/wipe our table before we sit, didn’t even wipe it clean. Service need training.
