Beautiful hotel with glorious views of the bay and mountains. Lovely oasis of calm after a day out. The rooms have amazing views and good size balconies. They are very well equipped with a fridge , hair dryer, kettle etc . Beds are very comfortable too . Everything is so well kept and the owners/staff are so friendly and helpful. Note there is a steep walk up to the hotel but absolutely worth it for the views . Great location as it’s a short walk to Skiathos town and the bus stop nearby .

The owners and staff at the hotel were fantastic and very helpful. The views from the terrace were amazing - breakfast very good - the walk into town took 10 mins - when booking you must be aware that the hotel is high up from the road so expect the steep inclines.

A lovely hotel with a very good sea view from our room. The staff were very efficient, helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again despite it being a big hill to walk up to the hotel from the town, we got used to it so no problem for our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rene. We arrived much later than planned but were welcomed so graciously and even made some food. The rooms, with fantastic air conditioning, and grounds were spotless because they were cleaned every day. ALL staff were friendly and approachable. Sunbeds, swimming and restaurant area were all well maintained. Beach and town centre all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful welcome at Hotel Rene from the friendly staff. What a fabulous spot on the beautiful island of Skiathos. The view from our room balcony was stunning, and we also enjoyed that view every morning whilst enjoying our excellent breakfast. Great poolside area. Ideally located with a short walk into fabulous Skiathos town, the harbour and beaches with plenty of wonderful tavernas and restaurants. Great stay.

I loved this little hotel. 5 star views at 2 star prices. Really friendly staff, nice fresh breakfast buffet each day. It is a very steep walk up hill from the beach, so bear that in mind if you are not so steady on your feet. But even if you take it slow, it's only 10 minutes up (5 mins down!). 15 minute easy walk into Skiathos town and very near the number 4 bus stop that can take you all the way down the south coast.

Stayed for 9 nights , staff very friendly, chilled out , relaxed atmosphere. Property very clean , rooms had a fridge and A/C. Amazing view, would def stay again

We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival at this small family run hotel. Our balcony room had an amazing view over the bay. The pool, although a bit chilly at this time of year, was an added bonus for a town hotel. The hotel was extremely well managed and clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet had a good choice of food. It is true that it would not be suitable for people with mobility issues as there are a lot of steps in the hotel and certainly a challenging walk up the hill to reach the hotel from the town or bus stop. But you can easily walk into the main town in 10-15 minutes or Megali Ammos beach, with its beach bars and restaurants. And you do get used to the climb!! There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by. The hotel served both the usual snack food and home cooked delicious Thai food.

What a amazing stay at this beautiful apartment/Hotel, Staff can't do enough for you , Rooms cleaned everyday , Views are just amazing, Only downside is it's on a really big hill which some people might find hard ,
