The atmosphere provided by a converted historic Filipino house and attentive customer service combine to provide a unique experience. It was a great pleasure to stay at the Paradores del Castillo

Beautiful heritage house with incredible character and a vast array of traditional decoration. The pool and gardens are lovely and well maintained. The family room we stayed in was very large for 4 with 3 beds and a lounge. Staff have been over the top and this hotel was the best we had in weeks. 3 main caveats for families: 1/ Family room gives on street side, the street is at a cross road leading to steepy road to main street so motorbikes making a turn accelerate to go up and woke us up multiple times. 2/ Family room is accessible via a stairs, while stylish, half of these do not have a ramp and can be slippery for elders 3/ Restaurant does not allow room tapping, we had to pay every time, kind of misleading when reception asks for a caution.

Step back in time

I’m completely in love with this hotel & I would definitely come back here if ever I visit Taal again. It was worth every penny - from the room, to the common spaces, to breakfast. It is walking distance to all the important places to visit. Two thumbs up!

When we first arrived i was concerned about the hotel, but after goinsude and seeing the heritage i was sold. The room is good, the bed comfortable. Swimming pool is great. The food delicious and the staff delightful A little overpriced but given the staff and the food it is well worth staying there!

The facilities is opt for accidents or fall. Ground floors have a lot of uneven payment that will cause accident. I don't know if they ever had any claim from their guests? Likewise, they are the only hotel we encounter limiting bottle of water to 2 bottles for the duration of your stay. The rest you have to pay Php42.00 each. However, their bfast is super great!

We stayed at Casa de Herencia which was just behind the church. It was decent. Lots of bugs though on the ground floor but the sheets and beds were clean. You can't expect too much from an old house but they did their best to maintain it. The staff overall were very helpful and accommodating though the front desk girl was a bit annoying. The manager also did not want to honor Senior Citizen's Discount for an extra bed we requested, which was a bit off-putting. The breakfast at the restaurant was pretty good. Overall its above average for a provincial stay in the Philippines but definitely not at par with international standards. It is still nice to experience something different in the countryside.

Highly recommeded! Customer service was superb.Rooms were clean. Pool was not that big but very clean,sanitized regularly. All of the staff were very attentive of our needs,they're all accomodating. Kudos to the whole team. I can't thank them enough. I'm so happy that I made the right booking.

The place was great, they have the modern luxury such as hot and cold shower, AC and wide screen tv with cable yet the ambiance and the hotel itself was kept as authentic to our olden days as possible.

Very nice stay :) I super love the reception, food, ambiance, and cleanliness of the room ❤️ Our stay was super worth it 👍 congrats to Paradores Team 🎉 The parking slot was superb! We were assisted properly and the room was very clean and sanitized :)

Heritage hotel in heritage town,PERFECT.

Great to stay in a fully restored herirtage house. Keeping the appearance of an authentic Spanish- American heritage House while providing the best modern amenities.
