The hotel has a great location and good sound insulation from the outside. However, several aspects of my stay were below the standard I would expect from ibis and Accor. On my last morning, while I was having breakfast and drinking my coffee, I was approached by Said, a responsible staff member, and asked to write a 5-star review on famous review pkatform and send him a screenshot. He even insisted on helping me find the review platform while I was still trying to enjoy my coffee. I found this very uncomfortable. Guest reviews should reflect the guest’s genuine experience, not be solicited as a 5-star rating. There were also several issues with the room. Some corners clearly needed better cleaning, and I noticed a line of ants repeatedly walking along the bathroom door. The soap dispenser in the shower was also empty. The breakfast was another disappointment. Although there were many staff members working around the breakfast area, basic items such as juice, butter and jam were repeatedly not replenished until guests specifically asked. The croissants were taken from a box stored inside a cupboard rather than being freshly presented from the kitchen, which also affected the overall impression of the breakfast. The location and sound insulation are positive points, but the cleanliness, breakfast service and especially the pressure to leave a 5-star review significantly affected my overall experience. This is not level of guest experience I associate with ibis/Accor

Reliable standard, no bonuses

The room met all the standards that it was promised to provide, including desk and chair (albeit the latter very basic), good quality internet connection, comfortable settings and relatively much space, with the location bonus of just next to the train station. However, the slightly lower price (which does not include breakfast by default) is mirrored by the missing fridge and coffee/tea maker, and by at times underwhelming cleaning beyond those spaces where dirt is immediately visible. Still, it is a very good choice for effective accommodation in Rabat.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The property well located close to train station. However, the room was tiny and a bit old, with many stains on the carpet and the bathroom. The bathroom door was not closing properly, the shower walls needed to be cleanse throughly. Lastly the bedsheets were full of dust (they were clean but were generating way too much dust particles in air when manipulated). To finish on positive note: the breakfast was good. A special recognition to the lady preparing fresh “msemen and baghrir” - she was just fantastic; always smiling and welcoming, proactively proposing foods that was very tasty.

The hotel is very conveniently located and affordably priced for all budgets. However, the check in was not as smoothly as expected. The front desk agent who checked me in was not as helpful as anticipated. This all changed later on that evening and the next day when two agents: Noufel and Faisal, who were extremely professional and very helpful. These two employees went above and beyond to make my stay well worth it. They helped me store and retrieve my heavy luggage, find local transportation, provided helpful information and made me feel better for choosing this property. Because of Noufel and Faisal, I will recommend and return to this hotel.
