Love Casa Lidia and would be happy to stay there again on my next visit to Oaxaca. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Breakfast is delicious and the whole staff is friendly and welcoming. Casa Lidia benefits from being in the barrio de Jalatlaco neighborhood, so its quiet and picturesque while still being a walkable distance from key sites in central Oaxaca -- in particular the Church of Santo Domingo that's at the northern end of the central pedestrian walk that forms the north-south axis of most major in-town sites. The host and staff are warm and helpful. I'd stay there again.
