Very friendly hotel owner, who took over management about a year ago. The rooms are mostly newly renovated, and has great layout. The location is excellent - close to the Arrowhead Provincial Park; but the highway can be a bit noisy (though I understand renovations are planned). I would consider staying here again.

Staff were great and room was clean. A breakfast would be a nice addition to stay even if just a continental brekky such as coffee and baguettes would suffice. Right next to highway 11 therefore a little noisy. They have a food truck which is a nice addition as fresh food on offer for lunch and supper.

The room was good. Clean & comfortable. Couple of things disappointed me. One their internet is absolutely horrible. We had the owner assist us to put us on a different WiFI and it worked at that moment but then all evening we couldn't watch Netflix, or Disney. Other thing is no lamps just very bright overhead lights. There is not heat or A/C in the bedroom or the separatee kitchen - this should be specified in their description. No window covering on the Kitchen window and the window is filthy plus the sun is very bright in the morning. In my experience they are charging a bit too much for what they are offering.

Where to begin? Clean room, perfect location near the town center, Arrowhead and Algonquin Park, plenty of hot water, wonderful heating, and a smart TV. Beyond all these, the owner/reception manager was very friendly. He even noticed that it was my birthday and gave me a whole cake, accompanied by his wife. Highly recommended!
