This was our 4th stay at the Crowsnest. It’s a family run winery, guesthouse, bakery and restaurant. Guesthouse aspect is comfortable and basic. The restaurant is excellent, with a superb European breakfast included. Did I mention they make their own bread? If you’re there on a weekend, I highly recommend their pizza, cooked in an outdoor clay oven. Wine tasting is free, and they offer some excellent wines.

What a scrumptious meal we both enjoyed sitting outdoors with a complimentary wine tasting flight. The gold star Merlot was our favourite. At 8 am the restaurant opened again for breakfast, included in our pleasant stay.

Really lovely place to stay. I loved the wood floors in my room, the skylight, and how nice and clean it was. Complimentary wine tasting (fantastic!) included in the room rate, plus there's a restaurant and bakery right on site. When I let the manager know I had to leave before the breakfast would be served, she offered to have a to-go box ready for my early departure the next morning. Amazing. Highly recommend.

The staff were very polite and welcoming. Yet overall this was a disappointing stay. Best described as staying in a clean dreary dormitory room with a noisy fridge. Coffee and tea was available in the hallway next to the guest rooms. We did not have the breakfast. I found the cost of the stay disproportionately & surprisingly high given the poorer quality of the guest room, amenities in comparison to other wine/farm stay I enjoyed in the area . We did book late on this leg of our trip and our options were limited.

We had such a lovely stay at this guesthouse! The views from the room were absolutely stunning—waking up to that scenery was a highlight in itself. The staff were incredibly warm and went above and beyond for us, even helping arrange a wine tasting after store hours, which we truly appreciated. The sourdough wood-fired pizza was absolutely to die for, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. We visited to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the entire experience felt so special and memorable. The room itself was simple but spacious enough and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would definitely love to return!
