Booked DBB, tried hard to find out the allocation pp, called twice, I emailed 24 hours before that & never received reply. Needed to book dinner but said it was full so emailed to ask to book and also ask the allocation, I did get a booking but again my question to allocation was ignored, I emailed straight back and again this email never responded to, used messenger they came back with £38 pp for food & drink, thought perfect as that was what I was told on the phone but I did want it written down as know how things go !!
So went to dinner, such a poor meal, we came covid time and I still talk about how nice the meal was, & reason went half board, I mentioned we had a DBB rate to be told they don’t do that, she went to ask and eventually come back to say yes, I hate that & was why I wanted it written down, i now know our half board was a complete waste of money sadly.
starter arrived and I noticed the main dish I’d ordered 2 went to the next table but they had only ordered one. So the other just sat on the hot lamp for another 15 mins, not the best I feel, worse that I could see it and just knew what was going to happen.
bill the allowance different to what everyone told me, granted only £3pp but again so annoying.
Breakfast started to be cleared away 9.53, no one told was happening, but heard supervisor telling late comers they always tell guests before this was done, so the food part of stay really poor and wished I’d booked different hotel that was cheaper as waste
