I went to the parking garage to put things in my car. To my surprise, the key fob did not open the door, no matter what I did.
I thought I would have to call AAA, but the lady at the front desk said, “Let’s try this first”.
Two men from the engineering department came. Although I thought my key fob was to blame, they were able to determine that the key fob was in good working order.
They also showed me how to take an actual key out of the key fob, so that we could open the car. I didn’t even know that key was there.
Even though we were now able to access the car, it still didn’t start. eventually, they told me that they had figured out that I had drained my battery. The overhead light failed to go off when I exited the car on the previous day.
We still did not have to call AAA. They had a device that charged the battery of my car.
I was saved!
It seems to me that this is definitely service above and beyond the call of duty. I was impressed with their professionalism, their courtesy, and their expertise.
This hotel seems to take very good care of their guests.
