What a cute and well run establishment! We’ve stayed at multiple places during our 12 day journey throughout Nova Scotia and this was the best! Clean, cozy, warm and welcoming! Two thumbs way up!! 👍👍

8/10 Very good

This is a very nice motel. There are healthy plants inside and outside rooms. Their breakfast selection is limited compared to other places we stayed but there is a great selection of toppings for oatmeal and the owner cook great eggs, poached or boiled, which I don’t see at any other places. However I think it’s rather expensive for what we got. When we arrived around 6:30pm, no one was in the office but I was able to get my room key from the counter. After I unpacked and returned to the office to get some drinking water around 7:30pm, the office was locked. It’s the most expensive night for our 16 day trip to the maritimes, with many other hotels that have better services but cost much less. It may justify its price for its location, but I may consider skipping this location if I travel to Cape Breton region again.

The room was very clean and cozy. Check in was very easy with everything taken care of before we got there and a folder with a key and all the information we needed ready upon arrival. We didn’t get the chance to have breakfast because we slept in but I’m sure it would have been delicious and I’ll be back in the future to try the scones. It was a lovely spot not too far away from town and very quiet. Whether travelling alone, as a couple or as a family I would definitely recommend this spot.

Absolutely adorable. The Inn is located close to town but not right in the busy areas. Far enough for peace and quiet but close enough to explore the town and area. The Antigonish Evergreen Inn is well maintained with the rooms being stocked with everything you may need. And nice views of the valley. The owner was super nice and offered up areas to visit. Coffee and breakfast was offered in the entrance which felt like being in your own home. We would highly recommend the Antigonish Evergreen Inn but reserve early.

Fantastic place to stay. All the comforts of home with live plants, ample room and friendly staff. Expedia advertised that breakfast was included but this proved not to be the case in low season and the affordable price reflected this.

The Evergreen Inn was a little off the beaten path, but it was well worth the trip. From the outside, the inn looked modest, though it was clean and well maintained. Our room, however, was a delightful surprise. It was beautifully appointed, with furniture and fixtures as nice as those in some of the upscale hotels we’ve stayed in. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, including makeup-removal towels, robes, slippers, and even live plants that made the room feel especially welcoming. Breakfast was another highlight. We enjoyed freshly baked scones (I’d love the recipe!), steel-cut oats, and fresh, hot coffee in the cozy lobby area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Evergreen and would happily stay there again.
