Hotel needs some love. Looks and feels tired and run down. However, I can understand reluctance of Owner to invest funds, as Gold River sees few tourists. Room was clean enough and the only staff person (combined manager/cleaner?) was friendly and helpful. Central kitchen facility was in need of a good clean and paint job. Lots of parking.

Great motel in Gold River. Very friendly staff. Met the owner, and the manager. They wanted to make sure we were happy. Great location next to a very nice pub with great food, a minute walk to tourist info and EV chargers, plus great trails for walking the dog. Very much enjoyed two nights here.
