we had a fantastic break at a reasonable price too. Lovely staff, very good breakfast, gorgeous, well equipped and comfortable room and beautiful decor throughout the inn. Dog welcome in rooms for a reasonable supplement (with extras provided for it too: bowl and welcome kit) and in the pub. Will come back!

Very positive experience. Staff were welcoming, friendly and made me feel at home from the moment that I walked in. I called beforehand to check on something and they were really helpful. The room was pleasantly decorated, nice big tv, very clean and well appointed, with tea, coffee and bottled water. Central location. Dog friendly establishment. This is somewhere that I would definitely recommend and will return to when I'm the area.

I have always wanted to visit Rye after l heard about it on the radio. I was not disappointed. The Ship Inn staff were very welcoming, the food was lovely and also the atmosphere, you felt that the staff were happy in their work. We had our rather large dog with us, who settled quickly to his different surroundings. Also a sausage treat now and then was welcomed. I would definitely stay there again, also so well placed for accessing the town, only downside is parking, we managed each time to find a space where you could park for free. I would highly recommend a stay at the Ship Inn.

We had a couple comfortable nights stay at The Ship Inn. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was a little too soft for us, but that's just our own personal preference. Food in the restaurant was amazing with friendly staff and prompt customer service.
