Family friendly A+ location

The location for Union Bluff makes it a great place to stay. I have been coming to this hotel since I was a child and I am now nearly 40. We always stay in the annex, which is very family friendly. Close to everything to walk or just hang out in your room.

Would stay here again

We loved being able to sit outside and see the ocean. The hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.

Comfortable Night

Beautiful location on short sands beach in York. There was a storm during our stay, and the waves just across the street from the hotel were amazing. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very welcoming!

Union Bluff is a charming hotel right by the ocean. The food at the pub was delicious, and the bartender/waitress was incredibly friendly. The view of the ocean from our room was absolutely breathtaking! I specifically booked this room so I could open the window and fall asleep to the sound of the waves, which I find so relaxing. Unfortunately, there was a gas exhaust pipe just outside the window, so I couldn't keep it open as I had hoped. That was a bit of a letdown. Despite that, I'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location, right on the beach!! Parking easy and very close!! Clean rooms, clean grounds. Small rooms, small bathroom. Although room is outdated (as most beach hotels are), the A/C kept the room cool on a 97! Degree day with 100%humidity! The beds were comfy enough. Hotel was understaffed and you had to request room cleaning/and fresh towels.. not good. The staff were wonderful and quick, but it was obvious they were overworked and understaffed. Hotel management needs to take some of that $ expensive room stay cost and hire more help. Stairs are tough on hot days, but the view from the top is superb! Noisy in the morning with the street sweepers and beach cleaning but they do a beautiful job! Nice clean paths and sidewalks, nice clean beach and beach sand!!

Avoid if you're not interested in the ocean view!!

The room that we had (204) had dusty cobwebs hanging from two separate areas of the room. Near the picturesque corner fo the building windows, which were very dirty and had not been washed for a while. The curtains had been done on the cheap and were on rods that were so cheap that we were afraid to push them open. The mini refrigerator was unlevel and kept tilting when the door would be opened to grab something out. In the bathroom the ceiling fan was so loud and choppy that we thought it catch fire and didn't leave it running too long. There was moisture on the ceiling feom lack of fan usage and the tub was so hard to get in and out of for ahort people that it sucked! Also, the room was easily accessible from a back stairwell that had no safety precautions so that any guest could fall down them. The one enjoyable thing about the room was the view overlooking the ocean and nearby cape.
