Ok for a night's stay when going to a show at Viva Blackpool. Room clean with lovely sea view but far too hot even with the window fully open & no fan which would have been great. Pleasant staff. Handy parking in front of the hotel. Basic full English breakfast arrived so quickly after we ordered it that it had obviously been sitting for a while & was a bit dried up. No serviettes available in the dining room. The hotel could be fantastic as it has a large lounge with bar & stage but needs money & a bit of tlc spending on it. Fine for the price though.

We booked this hotel as it only a couple of streets away from the venue we were visiting. The room was very clean and comfortable, we just had an issue with TV not working which was not that much of a problem as weren't in the room much. We did report it and the receptionist and he did try to sort it but we think it was more of a maintenance issue. The breakfast was great. Nice to have fried bread. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I think it's an old building and there were lots of stairs everywhere. I understand from speaking to a member of staff it was due a refurbishment. Would be wonderful if they did as it's a fabulous building and right on the sea front and has great sea views from the windows at the front of the hotel.

Check in meant to be from 3pm but room not ready. Lots of people sat in reception waiting to check in. We waited 40 mins and had to leave as we booked an activity. Returned a few hours later and were able to check in fine. Room was decent size and had everything you needed. However, in the basement so no signal and no free WiFi. TV was intermittent. Quite noisy at front of hotel. Electric kept tripping and we ended up in the dark multiple times. This was sorted quickly. Cleanliness wasn’t the best. There was what appeared to be vomit up the wall (I cleaned this up with wipes). The location was good and short walk to amenities. The hotel has free parking if you are able to get a spot.

Good points - location is very convenient for the town and we had a seaview room which was worth the extra money. The staff were very friendly and hard working. Bad points - to reach our room we had to walk through two unused function rooms/bars. You had to fill in a form for breakfast which came plated up, if we stayed again I would not pay the extra money for breakfast. The room itself was clean but some other areas were not especially the dining room.

This hotel is in a great proximity close to the rail station and right on the sea front. On entering the hotel I was met by a polite individual who said I think your room is ready which was good of them as I was 45 minutes early. On entering the single room I was surprised how spacious and modern it was it looked like it had just had a update. The breakfast is good but there is confusion at what time it is served' I asked at reception and was advised till 10.30 yet when I arrived at the dining room at 9.25 I was advised I was almost arriving late? The room needs a information booklet advising guests on about the hotel. Apart from the breakfast debacle a great stay.
