This is a lovely country setting of this motel in central Cape Breton. A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Good size room. Comfortable bed. There is a restaurant/bar attached to the building which serves the guests and locals. Good food and atmosphere.

This was my favorite place we stayed in Cape Breton. I wish we had had more time to explore the area. Behind the hotel is a historic site that can be explored on foot. The best thing was the music! We were able to see the weekly jam with trad music (mostly Cape Breton, some that seemed more Irish and possibly even American old-time-y) and loved it.

Our stay at the Iona Heights Inn was short, but enjoyable. Location was excellent, scenery was unbelievable. Our room was cozy with lots of hot water in shower. Clean fresh towels & linen. New bedding. We were disappointed there was no full breakfast but the continental breakfast was adequate with some healthy choices. Very nice stay.

It’s in a beautiful location, there is a pub in there, good food and entertainment but if you don’t like it go back in your room and you don’t hear it! It’s about 20 minutes away from Baddeck, another beautiful town! We come back every time, my favourite spot, they never disappoint! They let you do your laundry as well.
