We were at a wedding at Bashall Barn and the Red Pump is very close. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was fabulous. Room clean with coffee/tea making facilities.

Such a cute place! All round excellent! The staff were extremely attentive and very friendly. The breakfast was a nice spread and I'd be more than happy to return should I be in the area again. I would definitely recommend to others - families, couples or friends.

Cannot speak highly enough of our 2 night stay at the Red Pump inn.Jonathan and Fran were very welcoming and happy to help with any questions we had.The evening meal was excellent and a good choice of drinks behind the bar.The breakfast was buffet style and that was excellent too with a good choice of cereals and a hot English breakfast as well.The staff who ran the breakfast were very efficient and made sure there was no shortage of food or drinks available.The rooms were very clean with tea and coffee provided.Will definitely stay there again whenever we are up in that area again.

We had a an excellent stay at the red pump at weekend, from first entering the hotel we were treated very well. As we were only staying one night after attending a wedding at a nearby wedding we didn't have a meal in the restaurant, my sister who was staying two nights really enjoyed the food served in the restaurant. The breakfast provided was of a good standard and served with a very pleasant staff. The only fault was that our room didn't have a on sweet facility,but we had access to a private bathroom just a couple of yards down the corridor and they provided bath robes so we coped with it.

My sister and I had a lovely stay in one of the yurts! We happened to be there on the evening of a special event (their twice-yearly steak night). We booked our stay quite last minute so while they were full for dinner (so we popped into Clitheroe by inexpensive uber for dinner instead), they were very welcoming when we got back to the hotel while the atmosphere was still lively with live music etc. So we joined them for a little sing along and a wee jig before bed. Breakfast was good the following morning too! So, a great stay in a lovely scenic spot, with lovely people - thank you!

The Red Pump is in a beautiful location with beautiful views to Pendle Hill. It’s convenient for the Trough of Bowland drive and several interesting places to visit, should the weather be wet. The 5 star element is definitely the owners and their team - so friendly and helpful. We ate in both nights and there was a great choice of tasty food. On Thursday we had a bonus of entertainment by an acoustic trio.

This area has 8+ wedding venues and most arent Hotels just great venues so properties with glamping pods, cool sheperd huts have sprung up to support visitors. My "hut" was cool kingsize bed kitcheb facilities and a shower bathroom with a small deck and jacuzzi. Beautiful scenery and tge Inn was friendly cozy and offers a hearty breakfast.

What great spot for a nice weekend break. Quiet surroundings just out of Clitheroe. The shepards hut has everything you need and a very comfy bed. The Hosts Jonathan & Fran are very inviting and friendly. 10/10 will definitely be returning 😀

We stayed in a yurt. It was bliss after the very warm days to sit outside on our little deck and wander in and out of our bedroom. Lying in the most wonderfully comfortable bed and watching the stars and ( as it turns out) lighting and heavy rain was just magical. clean comfy, and an amazing generous breakfast as well!

Perfect bolthole. It feels like stepping into a nicer universe. We stayed in a yurt again, and admittedly, the ensuite is rustic and chilly as you would expect but the main yurt was cosy and luxe even when the weather was cold. Staying on a Thursday night meant food was available and live entertainment!
